摘要： The present invention relates to an image printing apparatus for printing character data information of an electronic program guide added to externally inputted image information, comprising: an information processor comprising: demodulating/decoding means for detecting and demodulating/decoding the character data information of the electronic program guide added to the externally inputted image information; storage means for storing the demodulated/decoded character data information of the electronic program guide by the demodulating/decoding means; and output means for including the character data information of the electronic program guide stored by the storage means into a packet compliant with the IEEE 1394 standard and outputting the packet to the printer, and a printer comprising: input means for inputting the character data information of the electronic program guide included in the packet compliant with the IEEE 1394 standard outputted from the output means; print control means for detecting print control information from the character data information of the electronic program guide supplied from the input means; and printing means for printing the character data information of the electronic program guide under the control of the print control means.

摘要： The video data contained in the digital broadcasting received by a receiver are transmitted to a printer at high speed and at low cost. A receiver (STB 30) for receiving digital broadcasting, a display 31 for displaying the images of the digital broadcasting received by the STB 30 and a printer 32 for printing images contained in the digital broadcasting received by the STB 30 are connected to each other by way of a first signal transmission means adapted to transmit digital signals. The printer 32 obtain video data from the receiver 30 by way of the first signal transmission means.

摘要： A RAID controller accesses an access request area on logical volumes distributed and stored on a plurality of physical disks according to a disk access request from a host. The controller has a plurality of management modules which are in-charge of plurality of the redundant groups respectively and issuing a logical format request for each area of said logical volume by referring to a management table for managing progress information of the logical format processing. Each management module has a plurality of the management table for being in-charge of said plurality of redundant groups and a queue for queuing the disk access request. The management module, according to the disk access request, judges whether all the access request areas have been logically formatted referring to the management table.

摘要： A storage controller executes logical format to enable host access to a physical disk, where the logical format of a physical disk is executed without waiting for host access. The storage controller comprises a logical format management module having bit map memory for managing progress information on format processing of a logical volume, and a lower layer module which accesses a physical disk according to the request of the management module. The management module judges whether all the access areas have been formatted referring to the bit map memory, requests the disk access to the lower layer module if judged as formatted, while, issues a logical format processing request before the disk access, queues the disk access request to the queue if not formatted, further searches the unformatted area from the bit map memory, and issues a logical format processing request if no disk access request exists in the queue.

摘要： Disclosed is a method and apparatus for cold-working annular workpieces by applying thereto an internal fluid pressure to cause an enlargement of the diameter thereof through plastic deformation, in which the openings at opposite ends of an annular workpiece are closed by a pair of presser plates through packings which are radially expansible along with the annular workpiece. The contacting surface pressure of the packings and presser plates are controlled to a predetermined value by an arithmetic unit operating on detected values of a main pressure acting internally on the annular workpiece, an auxiliary pressure pressingly holding the presser plates against the respective packings and varitions in the shape of the annular workpiece undergoing the plastic deformation.

摘要： A RAID apparatus and an access control method thereof includes same logical volumes allocated to a plurality of physical disk units. The RAID apparatus includes a plurality of physical disk units storing same logical volumes, and a disk controller accesses a particular logical volume by accessing any physical disk unit which stores the particular logical volume. The disk controller includes a memory storing the number of operations requested of each physical disk unit, for each physical disk unit, and a control circuit accessing one of the plurality of physical disk units which stores the particular logical volume, in accordance with the number of operations. Since a physical disk unit is selected in accordance with the numbers of operations of the individual physical disk units, balanced access to the physical disk units is accomplished.

摘要： A receiver in which, when a picture of television broadcast demonstrated on a picture display device is to be printed, the picture selected by the user can be checked without intermission of pictures of television broadcast. When a command for printing a picture demonstrated on a display monitor 3 is inputted from a command input unit 29, picture data held by the frame memory 27 is outputted as printing data from a print data outputting unit 30. The picture data held by the frame memory 27 is synthesized to data of the next picture supplied from the picture color signal circuit unit 24. The resulting synthesized picture data is outputted as display data from a display data output unit 25. The display monitor 3 generates e.g., a picture-in-picture type slave image plane in which to display the print image.
