Abstract: A stand includes a body, sliding front and rear extending frames, first and second pivotal supports at two sides respectively, and two third pivotal supports at two sides of the sliding lower extending frame. The first, second and third pivotal supports are each capable of pivoting to dispose the body in an acute angle with respect to a supporting surface or rest the body on the supporting surface. The sliding front and rear extending frame each include a cross member and two sliding rods disposed at two ends of the cross member respectively, each sliding rod extending into the body. An angle of the stand with respect to the supporting surface is adjustable.

Abstract: A belt buckle may include a buckle cooperating with a belt body. The belt body includes a connecting portion formed at one end thereof, and a plurality of punch holes arranged at the other end of the belt body. The buckle has a frame, a spring, a prong, a control unit, and a cover, and a shaft is located at one end of the frame. Abstract: Various embodiments of a deep learning (DL)-based face perception engine for constructing, providing, and applying a highly-personalized face perception model for an individual through a deep learning process are disclosed. In some embodiments, a disclosed face perception engine includes a deep neural network configured for training a personalized face perception model for a unique individual based on a standard set of training images and a corresponding set of decisions on the set of training images provided by the unique individual. When sufficiently trained using the standard set of training images and the corresponding set of decisions, the personalized face perception model for the unique individual perceives a new face photo/image as if through the eyes of that unique individual. Hence, the trained face perception model can be used an “agent” or “representative” of the associated person in making very personal decisions, such as to decide if a given face photo/image includes a desirable face in the eyes of that person.

Abstract: The wind harnessing device includes an axle, a number of radially outward extending first and second poles respectively arranged at equal intervals around a first end and a second end of the axle, a number of blade assemblies, and a rack to which the axle is rotatably mounted. Each first pole is aligned with and parallel to a second pole. Each blade assembly includes a first beam, a second beam, and a flat blade. The first and second beams are respectively attached to and along a first edge and an opposite second edge of the blade. The first beam's two ends are pin joined to the outer ends of a pair of corresponding first and second poles so that the blade is able to swing about the first beam. The wind harnessing device thus structured is of lower weight, reduced cost, and easy maintenance.
