The disclosure provides a method for displaying a barcode. The method includes: utilizing an electronic device to obtain information; and displaying a barcode on an active barcode display according to the information; wherein when displaying the barcode on the active barcode display of the electronic device, a contrast ratio of black and white bar codes in the barcode is greater than about 30%. Another method for displaying a barcode is also provided, the method includes: utilizing an electronic device to identify a barcode displayed on a display of the electronic device to generate information; and displaying a generated barcode on an active barcode display according to the information; wherein when displaying the generated barcode on the active barcode display of the electronic device, a contrast ratio of black and white bar codes in the generated barcode is greater than 30%. Abstract:
A method for reducing the quantization effect of precoding operations utilizing a finite codebook in MIMO systems is provided. First, at the receiver side, downlink channel state information is obtained and a set of indices of precoding matrices within a plurality of finite codebooks are selected accordingly. The selected indices of precoding matrices for each of the finite codebooks and a set of scalar coefficients are transmitted from the receiver to the transmitter. Thereafter, at the transmitter side, at least a first and a second refined precoding matrices are generated based on the selected set of indices of precoding matrices for all of the finite codebooks, and the one or more scalar coefficients and a final precoding matrix is generated at least based on the first refined precoding matrix and the second refined precoding matrix. The final precoding matrix is applied for transmission between the transmitter and the receiver.

A method of reducing an amount of channel information fed back by a mobile device in a wireless communication system to a plurality of transmission points of the wireless communication system is disclosed. the method comprises measuring signal quality between the mobile device and the plurality of transmission points; determining a set of the plurality of transmission points, if the signal quality is in one of a plurality of quality regions; and feeding back the channel information to the set of the plurality of transmission points, wherein the channel information is related to a plurality of channels between the mobile device and the set of the plurality of transmission points.

A method of determining a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for a next hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) transmission for a receiver in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises measuring signal quality of a present HARQ transmission when receiving complete information transmitted by a transmitter of the wireless communication system in the present HARQ transmission; determining normalized signal quality according to the signal quality and remaining part of the complete information to be received in the next HARQ transmission; and determining the MCS according to the normalized signal quality, for processing the remaining part of the complete information according to the MCS.

A method of reducing quantization error caused by precoding for a receiver in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprising measuring channel information of a channel between the receiver and a transmitter in the wireless communication system; determining at least one precoding matrix from at least one codebook according to the channel information of the channel; determining at least one geometric coefficient according to a Geodesic interpolation algorithm and the at least one precoding matrix, for the at least one precoding matrix, respectively; and feeding back the at least one precoding matrix and the at least one geometric coefficient to the transmitter.

A method of handling control information for a mobile device in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The mobile device is configured with a coordinated multipoint transmission/reception (CoMP) operation by network of the wireless communication system. The method comprises determining at least one cooperating cell or cooperating point of the network involving in the CoMP operation or involving in downlink (DL) transmissions to the mobile device or uplink (UL) receptions from the mobile device; and feeding back the control information to the at least one cooperating cell or cooperating point on at least one UL channel.

A method of handling an acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) transmission for a mobile device with a carrier aggregation (CA) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a configuration or an activation of the CA with at least one uplink (UL) component carrier and a plurality downlink (DL) component carriers from a network of the wireless communication system, and performing a simultaneous transmission of a scheduling request (SR) and the ACK/NACK, which corresponds to DL transmissions on the plurality of DL component carriers, with at least one PUCCH resource or on at least one PUCCH resource in a subframe according to one of a plurality of ACK/NACK transmission schemes configured or supported by the network.
