To provide a process for stable and continuous production of a polyacetal resin, mainly comprising a copolymer of 1,3-dioxolane and trioxane under the presence of a catalyst, in a high yield on an industrial scale for a long period of time. In the continuous production of a polyacetal resin by mixing 1,3-dioxolane with boron trifluoride and/or a coordination compound of boron trifluoride and then, mixing the obtained mixture with trioxane to conduct bulk polymerization in a polymerization machine, 1,3-dioxolane is brought into contact with boron trifluoride and/or a coordination compound of boron trifluoride while feeding both at the same direction and they are mixed together for 0.1 to 30 seconds under the condition of at least 0.1 m/sec of the linear velocity of the mixture and subsequently mixed with trioxane.

A detection area and an inspection area are electrically created in the TV image scope. The appearance of an image of an object to be inspected is detected by the detection area. Then, the image of the object is inspected by the inspection area. The inspection area is created at the (N+K).sub.th (N=1, 2, 3 . . . , K=1, 2, 3 . . . ) scanning field of the TV image scope, if the image of the object is detected by the detection area which was created at the N.sub.th scanning field.

A cellulose solution having excellent fluidity and formability is prepared by dissolving a cellulose composition containing a component (I) of cellulose having a polymerization degree of 500 to 1000, and a component (II) of at least one member selected from celluloses having a polymerization degree corresponding to 90% of that of the component (I) cellulose and being in the range of from 350 to 900, cellulose derivatives and polysaccharides, the mixing ratio of the component (I) to the component (II) being 95:5 to 50:50, in a mixed solvent comprising N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide and another solvent material compatible with N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide but not capable of dissolving cellulose therein, and the resultant cellulose solution being useful for producing shaped articles, for example, fibers and films.
