    摘要: An optical connector, assembled to a front end of an optical fiber and attached to an optical component that is provided with an optical element having an optical axis different from that of the optical fiber, includes a main body having a connection end surface, and a reflective portion changing an angle of an optical path. At least one of a fitting protruding portion and a fitting recessed portion are provided so as to be capable of positioning the optical connector to the optical component by respectively fitting a fitted protruding portion and a fitted recessed portion provided on the optical component in each of a first region on the front end side and a second region on the opposite side thereto with the optical path interposed therebetween.

    摘要: Disclosed is an optical connector which terminates an optical fiber inside the optical connector. The optical connector includes a main body. The main body includes: a reflector for reflecting light; a groove portion formed in a top surface of the main body; an optical fiber insertion hole opened in the groove portion, the optical fiber being inserted in the optical fiber insertion hole; an optical fiber placement stage provided in the groove portion, a front end portion of the optical fiber being placed on the optical fiber placement stage. The groove portion includes a side surface formed to face the optical fiber insertion hole. The optical fiber placement stage is formed by projecting from the side surface of the groove portion.

    摘要: An optical transceiver 10 includes an optical device 16 which is provided upon a substrate 11, an optical connector 14 which is connected to an optical fiber 15a, and a connector holder 13 for optically connecting together the optical device and the optical connector 14. The connector holder 13 includes an engagement means 13c which holds the optical connector 14. The engagement means 13c holds the optical connector 14 when the optical connector 14 is pressed in towards the substrate. The optical connector 14 supports the optical fiber 15a so that the optical axis of the optical fiber 15a subtends a fixed angle with respect to the optical axis of the optical device 16. And the optical connector 14 includes a mirror 14g for optically connecting between the optical device 16 and the optical fiber 15a.

    摘要: An optical one-to-one protection switching apparatus exchanges signals between a transmit node and a receive node. If a fault is detected in the first transmission line (down-stream), a controller in the node controls a drive circuit so as to shut off a gate. Then, the controller in the transmit node upon receiving a switching request from the receive node, controls the drive circuit so as to shut off the gate. Thereby, the optical switch is switched. The transmitter of the client terminal is thus connected to the second transmission line (down-stream). Upon receiving the switching request from the transmit node, the optical switch in the receive node is switched. Thereby the receiver in the client terminal is connected to the second transmission line (down-stream).
