The transport securing means, the adjustment apparatus and the final position securing means together have a single securing ring for fastening the tensioning piston in the tensioner housing, the incremental adjustment and limiting of the working range of the tensioning piston and the captive arrangement of the tensioning piston. A chain drive, more particularly a control chain drive, of an internal combustion engine, having such a tensioning device is also provided.

    摘要: An assembly method for joining a telescopic rod part of a length-adjustable connecting rod, the method includes the following steps: providing a first section of the telescopic rod part, the first section comprising a connecting-rod eye and having a connection thread, providing a second section of the telescopic rod part, the second section comprising the piston rod, to which a piston is fixedly connected, and having a connection thread, wherein the second section has already arranged thereon at least sealing and/or supporting and/or closing elements, which are to be secured to the second section and which are to be mounted onto the piston rod and the piston, respectively, from the side of the associated connection thread, providing a tool for establishing a sufficiently strong frictional engagement with the piston rod and the piston, respectively, by means of form-fit clamping, establishing a sufficiently strong frictional engagement with the second section of the telescopic rod part by means of the tool, screw fastening the first section of the telescopic rod part to the second section of the telescopic rod part by means of the respective connection threads, applying the necessary tightening torque between the first section of the telescopic rod part and the second section of the telescopic rod part by means of the attached tool. In addition, the present invention relates to the use of a telescopic rod part of a VCR connecting rod in such a method.

    摘要: A tensioning or guide rail for a chain drive, in particular for a chain drive of an internal combustion engine, comprises two spaced-apart contact sections and one non-contact section arranged therebetween, the contact sections each having a sliding surface which is adapted to be brought into contact with a chain, and the non-contact section interconnecting the two contact sections as a support structure. Such a rail is to be configured such that the installation space available can be utilized more advantageously. To this end, the support structure of the non-contact section comprises an opening extending continuously from a front to a rear of the tensioning or guide rail and separating the contact sections provided with the sliding surfaces. The invention also relates to an endless drive of the type in question.

    摘要: A link chain has alternating inner and outer chain links connected by a chain articulation, having a direction of motion, wherein each inner chain link has at least one inner plate, and each outer chain link has at least two outer plates and two chain link pins connecting these plates, each pin being rotationally fixed in a pin opening of the associated outer plate and extending through a link opening of the associated inner chain link to form a chain articulation. The inner and/or outer chain links have plate backs contactable with a tensioning rail or guide rail. A forward region of the plate backs in the direction of motion of a part of the inner and/or outer plates extends at an angle to a plane projected between the center lines of the pin openings or link openings. The vertex of the angle points away from the direction of motion.

A friction-reducing joint and a chain with reduced friction and less wear are provided, and thus a reduced CO2 emission of the associated internal combustion engine, the chain being stable and easy to produce. This is achieved in that the bush is configured as a straight circular cylinder in which the through-passage is arranged in the bush eccentrically with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bush.
