An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a bulk-acoustic-wave resonator comprising an acoustic reflector, a substantially c-axis oriented hexagonal crystal structure, and a plurality of electrodes. The crystal structure is solidly-mounted to the acoustic reflector. The bulk-wave resonator resonates in at least two non-harmonically-related operational modes.

    摘要: A thin-film bulk acoustic wave delay line device providing true-time delays and a method of fabricating same. An exemplary device can comprise several thin-film layers including thin-film transducer layers, thin-film delay layers, and stacks of additional thin-film materials providing acoustic reflectors and matching networks. The layer material selection and layer thicknesses can be controlled to improve impedance matching between transducers and the various delay line materials. For example, the transducer layers and delay layers can comprise piezoelectric and amorphous forms of the same material. The layers can be deposited on a carrier substrate using standard techniques. The device can be configured so that mechanical waves propagate solely within the thin films, providing a substrate-independent device. The device, so constructed, can be of a small size, e.g. 40 μm per side, and capable of handling high power levels, potentially up to 20 dBm, with low insertion loss of approximately 3 dB.

    摘要: A garment hanger (10) has at least one arm (12) connected to a suspension portion (11). The garment hanger has a first moulded portion (20), forming a first proportion of the at least one arm and suspension portion, mated and joined to at least a second moulded portion (40), forming a remaining second proportion of the at least one arm and suspension portion, to form a hollow, enclosed monocoque structure. The garment hanger may be provided with fingers (830) to which loops or straps of a garment may be attached to suspend the garment from the garment hanger thereby. Alternatively, or in addition, the monocoque garment hanger may include engagement means (730) for engaging a suspension hook of a further garment hanger such that the further garment hanger may be suspended from the monocoque garment hanger.

A first leg 115, 127 of the J-shape cross-section forms a front of the garment hanger, a base 111 of the J-shape cross-section forms a transversely arcuate upper face of the garment hanger for receiving shoulders of a garment to be suspended from the garment hanger and a second leg 116, 126, opposed to the first leg, and substantially shorter than the first leg, forms a return rear portion of the garment hanger. A garment hanger molded in the injection molding apparatus is also disclosed.
