摘要: A fuel supply device includes a flange unit and a pump unit. The flange unit includes a flange main body for closing an opening formed in an upper wall of a fuel tank. The pump unit includes a joint member that is connected to the flange main body so that both components may be movable relative to each other in the vertical direction. The interval in the vertical direction between the flange main body and the joint member is restricted from going below a minimum vertical interval. The minimum interval occurs when a stand-off portion provided as part of the flange main body and a connecting plate portion provided as part of the joint member come into mutual contact with each other and abut each other in the vertical direction.

摘要: A fuel filter device includes a bag-shaped filter member filtering fuel that is drawn into a fuel pump, an inner frame member retaining the filter member in an expanded state, and a mounting member connected to the inner frame member and serving to communicate an internal space of the filter member with an outside. A valve chamber is defined by the inner frame member and the mounting member, and a check valve serving to prevent backflow of fuel is disposed in the valve chamber. The check valve includes a flat-plate shaped valve body having elasticity. The check valve opens against its weight when the fuel pump is operated, and the check valve closes due to its weight when the operation of the fuel pump is stopped.

摘要: When a fuel tank is inclined at a negative slope and tilted to the right side, it may be tilted such that a position of a mesh member is relatively higher than a position of a vapor outlet of a vapor outlet passage. In this case, air may enter into a leak passage from an outlet port such that interfacial tension is generated in the mesh member. The interface between fuel and air is present at the mesh member, and the interfacial tension generated at the interface serves to prevent air from entering into a discharge pipe.

摘要: A fuel supply device includes a cover, a base including a base main body, and a connecting portion configured to connect the cover and the base. The base main body and the connecting portion are connected by a connecting shaft comprising a shaft portion and a bulge portion, a connecting hole formed so as to continuously extend an engagement region and an insertion region, and a stopper piece capable of limiting a movable range of the shaft portion located within the engagement region towards the insertion region. A guide mechanism is provided for guiding the connecting shaft to move so that at least one part of the stopper piece is positioned between the bulge portion and the base portion when a predetermined amount of force is applied to the connecting shaft.

摘要: A fuel supply device has a cover member which is attached to an opening of a fuel tank, a pump unit comprising a pump, and a connecting portion configured to connect the cover member and the pump unit. A connecting shaft which is formed to one of the two connected members of the connecting portion is inserted into a connecting hole which is formed to the other of the two such that the pump unit is connected to be relatively movable to the connecting portion. The pump unit includes an upper base on which the pump is placed, and a lower base which contacts to the fuel tank. The upper base and the lower base are coupled through attachments whereby an engagement portion of the upper base is fitted into a recessed portion formed on the side of the lower base. The recessed portion has a pair of planes opposing to each other and oriented toward a bottom surface of the lower base from a predetermined position. The recessed portion is further configured such that an interval between a pair of the planes is gradually increased toward the bottom surface.
