摘要: A fuel supply device includes a flange unit and a pump unit. The flange unit includes a flange main body for closing an opening formed in an upper wall of a fuel tank. The pump unit includes a joint member that is connected to the flange main body so that both components may be movable relative to each other in the vertical direction. The interval in the vertical direction between the flange main body and the joint member is restricted from going below a minimum vertical interval. The minimum interval occurs when a stand-off portion provided as part of the flange main body and a connecting plate portion provided as part of the joint member come into mutual contact with each other and abut each other in the vertical direction.

摘要: An in-tank fuel pump assembly and mounting system is disclosed which may be configured for mounting inside a fuel tank. The assembly includes a pump housing, pump mounted to the housing, and pressure relief valve. The housing may comprise upper and lower pump housing units coupled together. The upper housing unit is configured for mounting to a tank opening, which in one implementation may be the fuel fill opening. The lower housing unit extends into the tank to approximately the bottom of the tank. A fuel fill fluid pathway is created through the housing for adding fuel to the tank while the pump assembly remains in situ. The upper housing unit may include a removable fuel cap. The pump housing may include an integral vapor trap.

The fuel filter includes a filter center support having a first portion extending along a first axial length, and a second portion extending along a second axial length, the first portion having a first inner diameter that is greater than a second inner diameter of the second portion, and having a first inner contact surface at the first inner diameter, and a filter base having an opening, the opening having an opening diameter and defining a second inner contact surface. When positioned within the filter housing, the fuel filter contacts the center stack at a first axial location and at the first inner contact surface, and it contacts a center stack base of the center stack at a second axial location and at the second inner contact surface.

摘要: A strainer for a fuel pump according to the present invention includes: a communicating pipe including a flow path formed to communicate with a fuel inlet of the fuel pump; a filter including an internal space in which a fuel flows and coupled to the communicating pipe so that the internal space communicates with the communicating pipe; and a rib disposed in the filter and coupled to the communicating pipe, in which the filter includes a first filtering portion extending in a length direction with respect to the communicating pipe, a connecting portion extending in a width direction at an edge of the first filtering portion, and a second filtering portion extending in the length direction at the connecting portion and spaced apart from the first filtering portion in the width direction. Therefore, the strainer may have a relatively large filtering area and a small size.

A partition wall element is exposed in the inside space. The partitioning portion includes: a partitioning portion that is placed to partially partition the inside space into a first space, into which filtered fuel filtered through the filter element is supplied, and a second space, in which a suction inlet for suctioning the filtered fuel opens, wherein the partitioning portion conducts the filtered fuel from the first space to the second space; and a communication window that is formed in the partitioning portion at a location, which is offset to a side that is away from the suction inlet, wherein the communication window communicates between the first space and the second space while bypassing the partitioning portion.

摘要: A filter assembly includes a housing having an outer cavity and an inner cavity, and a gasket disposed within the housing. The gasket includes an inner surface, an outer surface, and a vent passage. The gasket forms a first seal with a central tube at the inner surface. The central tube extends into the inner cavity and includes an opening. A filter element is positioned within the housing and includes a filter media configured to filter a fluid and an endcap including an annular tab portion that forms a second seal with the outer surface of the gasket when the filter element is positioned in an operating position within the housing. The vent passage circumvents the first seal and the second seal, allowing air to flow from the inner cavity of the housing to the opening in the central tube.
