摘要: An offshore methane hydrate production assembly (1), having a tubing (41) extending into a subsea well (5) that extends down to a methane hydrate formation (7) below the seabed (3). A submersible pump (45) is arranged in the tubing (41). A methane conduit (35,35) extends down from a surface installation (49). A well control package (15) landed on a wellhead (13) is positioned at the upper end of the subsea well (5). Moreover, an emergency disconnection package (25) is arranged between the methane conduit (35,135) and the well control package (15). The tubing (41) is suspended from the well control package (15). Other aspects of the invention are also disclosed.

摘要: The invention relates to a gate valve assembly (20) for use in a subsea workover system comprising: —a valve block (22) having a flow path (21c); —valve seats (33, 34) located within the valve block (22) around a periphery of the flow path (21c), —a gate valve member (40) which is moveable across the flow path (21c) between a first position in which the flow path (21c) is open and a second position in which the flow path (21c) is closed; —said gate valve member (40) comprising a first portion (31) surrounding an opening (32) adapted to mate with the flow path (21c) when the gate valve member (40) is in the first position, said first portion (31) is provided with a cutting member (30) arranged on the periphery of the first portion (31) towards the opening (32). The gate valve member (40) further comprises a second portion (41) having at least one recessed part (42, 43), said recessed part (42, 43) being positioned such that when the gate valve member (40) is in the second position, the gate valve member (40) and the seats (33, 34) forms a sealing area (44, 45) arranged on a planar surface of the gate valve member (40).

摘要: The invention provides a cutting valve comprising a valve block, a gate, which is slidably within a cavity in the valve block from an open position to a closing and cutting position, an upper seat arranged in an upper part of the valve between the valve block and the gate, and a lower seat arranged in a lower part of the valve between the valve block and the gate, The valve further comprises an upper resilient member arranged between the upper seat and a lower resilient member arranged between the valve block and the lower seat. The cutting valve being distinctive in that the combination of height of upper seat, and lower seat, resilient member and any spacers on the lower side of the gate is selected so that an allowed travelling distance for the upper seat towards the valve block and an allowed travelling distance for the lower seat towards the valve block, are substantially equal.
