摘要: A video data processing method includes receiving a bitstream; decoding an index associated with a coding unit based on the bitstream, the index indicating a selection mode among at least four selection modes; determining whether a plurality of top neighboring samples and a plurality of left neighboring samples are available; determining four samples based on the index; determining two parameters based on the four samples; determining predicted samples of the coding unit based on the two parameters; and decoding the coding unit based on the predicted samples; wherein determining the four samples based on the index further comprises: determining the four samples based on an availability of the plurality of the top neighboring samples and the plurality of the left neighboring samples.

An exemplary method includes: determining whether a first uni-prediction motion vector for a first partition of a block and a second uni-prediction motion vector for a second partition of the block are from a same reference picture list; and in response to the first uni-prediction motion vector and the second uni-prediction motion vector being determined to be from the same reference picture list, storing, in a motion field of the block, one of the first uni-prediction motion vector and the second uni-prediction motion vector for a subblock located in a bi-predicted area of the block.

摘要: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for inter prediction process in video data coding. One exemplary method comprises: selecting one of a DMVR process and a BDOF process, based on a video bitstream; and inter predicting an image block based on the selected process. The selection can be made either through explicit signaling, or implicit derivation at the decoder side. According to one exemplary method, selecting the one of the DMVR process and the BDOF process can be performed by selecting the one of the DMVR process and the BDOF process based on: a flag signaled at at least one of a coding unit (CU) level and a coding tree unit (CTU) level, or a merge candidate index associated with an extended merge candidate list.

The method includes coding one or more first flags in a sequence parameter set (SPS) of a bitstream, and coding at least one second flag in the SPS if one or more coding modes are enabled for a video sequence associated with the SPS. The one or more first flags indicate whether the one or more coding modes are enabled for the video sequence. The at least one second flag indicates whether a multi-level control is activated for the one or more coding modes.

According to certain disclosed embodiments, an exemplary video processing method includes: receiving a first palette entry for palette coding a target coding unit (CU); determining whether the target CU is part of a single-tree slice; determining whether the target CU is coded with separate luma and chroma trees; and in response to the target CU being determined to be part of a single-tree slice and be coded with separate luma and chroma trees, decoding a first component of the target CU based on the first palette entry, and decoding a second component of the target CU based on a default palette entry.

The methods include: reconstructing a plurality of luma samples associated with a picture; and reconstructing a chroma block associated with the picture. The reconstructing of the chroma block includes: determining whether the chroma block has non-zero residues; and in response to a determination that the chroma block has one or more non-zero chroma residues, determining an averaged value of the plurality of reconstructed luma samples, and scaling residues of the chroma block based on the averaged value, prior to reconstructing the chroma block.
