摘要： A low cost circular sealed connector is disclosed which provides a weather tight seal between two polarized connector halves, namely a plug and a receptacle, when mated. The plug half of the connector is provided with a number of through bores equal to the number of electrical socket contacts to be carried thereby. Each of the through bores has a constricted neck portion serving as a resilient biasing means acting on the socket portion of the contact inserted therein. The receptacle half of the connector has a like number of bores, each with a male contact therein, and a hood portion with an inwardly directed flange on the outer end. The hood portion is preferably initially rolled back upon the receptacle half of the connector, the connector halves are mated and the hood portion is unrolled so that it extends fully over the plug half with the flange seated over the end of the plug. The hood thus serves for both sealing the connector and providing a means whereby rapid visual inspection may be made of the connector to insure proper connection. The subject connector is adapted for use with stamped and formed contacts and may further be provided with a sealing boot to adopt the receptacle half for a weather tight seal with a cable.

摘要： Mounting means for terminal junction modules comprising a channel-shaped frame member having a relatively low sidewall and a relatively high sidewall. A plurality of spaced-apart inwardly directed ears on the low sidewall and are adapted to enter confined recesses on the one end of each module. Resilient spring arms extend upwardly from the web of the frame adjacent to the high sidewall and have inwardly displaced upper portions which define downwardly facing shoulders. These shoulders are adapted to be located above upwardly facing shoulders on the opposite ends of the modules when the modules are positioned between the sidewalls. In order to lock a stack of modules in the channelshaped member, a slidable locking bar is mounted on the high sidewall and has inwardly directed bosses which are adapted to bear against the surfaces of the latching arms and prevent their movement outwardly away from the modules of the stack.

摘要： An electrical connector consisting of a plug and receptacle separately fastened to each other by means of helical double ribs, grooves and lug-mounted locking ring wherein coupling occurs after the lugs have traveled over transverse bosses positioned in the grooves. The bosses force the ring to expand outwardly so that as the lugs seat in position, an audio signal is emitted. The bosses also prevent the locking ring from vibrating out of position.

摘要： A sealed electrical connector comprises a plastic housing having one or more electrical contact terminals mounted therein. The housing is of a hard polymeric material which is elastically deformable. The contact terminals are driven into cavities in the housing and have peripherally extending teeth. The teeth deform the cavities in the walls which elastically bear against the teeth and form an extremely tight seal between the opposite faces of the housing.
