    Abstract: A display device including a color display panel and a switching panel which overlaps the color display panel in a first direction is provided. The color display panel includes a first array substrate, a first opposite substrate, and a first light shielding layer. The first opposite substrate overlaps the first array substrate in the first direction, wherein the first array substrate has a first display region and a first peripheral region located on at least one side of the first display region. The first light shielding layer overlaps the first peripheral region in the first direction. The switching panel comprises a second array substrate and a second opposite substrate. The second opposite substrate overlaps the second array substrate in the first direction, wherein the second array substrate comprises a second display region. The second display region overlaps the first display region and the first peripheral region in the first direction.

    Abstract: A pixel unit includes a first pixel, a second pixel, a third pixel, a fourth pixel and a light-shielding structure. The first pixel has a plurality of first sub-pixels, the second pixel has a plurality of second sub-pixels, the third pixel has a plurality of third pixels, and the fourth pixel has a plurality of fourth sub-pixels. The first sub-pixel has a first electrode extending along a first tilting direction. The second sub-pixel has a second electrode extending along a second tilting direction. The third sub-pixel has a third electrode extending along a third tilting direction. The fourth sub-pixel has a fourth electrode extending along a fourth tilting direction.     Abstract: A display panel is divided into a first region and a second region located outside the first region, and includes a first sub-pixel, a second sub-pixel, a plurality of scan lines, a first common line, a second common line, and a black matrix. In the first sub-pixel, a first distance exists between the first common line and a neighboring scan line along a second direction. In the second sub-pixel, a second distance exists between the second common line and a neighboring scan line along the second direction, and the first distance is not equal to the second distance. The black matrix has a plurality of holes, including a first hole and a second hole. The first hole exposes the first sub-pixel and the first common line located in the first region. The second hole exposes the second sub-pixel and the second common line located in the second region.

    Abstract: A display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a plurality of signal lines, a dielectric layer, a plurality of first pixel electrodes, an auxiliary electrode layer, and a control element. The second substrate and the first substrate are oppositely disposed. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The signal lines are disposed on the first substrate. The dielectric layer is disposed on the signal lines. The first pixel electrodes are disposed on the dielectric layer, are separated from each other, and are electrically connected to one of the signal lines respectively. The auxiliary electrode layer is disposed between the first substrate and the dielectric layer, and the auxiliary electrode layer is at least partially located, in a vertical projection on the first substrate, between two adjacent first pixel electrodes, and at least some of the signal lines overlap with some of the first pixel electrodes in the direction perpendicular to the first substrate. The control element is disposed on the first substrate and is electrically connected to the signal lines and the auxiliary electrode layer.

    Abstract: A display module includes a display panel and an electronically controlled shutter including polarizers, conductive layers, supporting members, and a display medium layer. Each pixel of the display panel has a first edge and a second edge. A shape unit composed of any four supporting members adjacent to one another has a third edge and a fourth edge. An angle between the third edge and the first edge is larger than or equal to 0 degrees. An angle between the fourth edge and the second edge is larger than 0 degrees. Lengths of the first, second, third, and fourth edges are respectively X, Y, X′, and Y′. Any four supporting members adjacent to one another satisfy at least one of Condition 1: X′>X and X′≠nX; and Condition 2: Y′>Y and Y′≠nY, wherein n is a positive integer.
