摘要： A machine powertrain includes an engine operably connected to a torque converter and a transmission. A switch associated with the torque converter provides a locking signal indicative of a locked or unlocked condition of the torque converter. A throttle sensor associated with the throttle provides a throttle signal. An electronic controller receives the locking signal and the throttle signal, and controls operation of the engine at least partially based on the throttle signal and the locking signal. The electronic controller determines whether a locked or unlocked condition of the torque converter is present based on the locking signal, determines whether a part throttle operating condition or a full throttle operating condition is present based on the throttle signal, and selects a derated power curve when the part throttle operating condition is present and when the torque converter switches from the unlocked to the locked condition.

摘要： A method and system for improving sensitivity of microwave and millimeter phase discriminators is disclosed. An exemplary embodiment of a phase discriminator includes two mixers inserted between two 90 degree hybrids. One hybrid splits the reference or LO signal into two signals of equal magnitude with a phase difference of 90 degrees. Similarly, the other hybrid splits the received RF signal into equal signals shifted 90 degrees in phase. One mixer receives an input set (e.g., LO and RF signals) with a zero-degree phase shift, and the other mixer receives the input set shifted in phase by 90 degrees. Thus, the leakage signals at the output of each mixer have the same magnitude but are 180 degrees apart in phase. The IF ports of the mixers are tied together, allowing the leakage signals of the mixers to combine destructively, thereby increasing isolation and sensitivity.

摘要： A security access system performing identification, verification and authorization is provided. In one embodiment, a security access system is disclosed. The security access system comprises, a radio frequency identification (RFID) activator loop integrated in an access road, a loop reactance sensing circuit, an RFID personal identification tag, an imaging device and a verification system. The loop reactance sensing circuit is adapted to measure the reactance of the RFID activator loop to determine the presence of a vehicle. The RFID personal identification tag is adapted to transmit identification data regarding the person it is associated with in response to the RFID activator loop. The imaging device is adapted to record an image of the person. The verification system is adapted to process the identification data of the RFID identification tag and produce an image of the person from a database associated with the identification data.

The underlayment has an adhesive layer on its lower side for securing the underlayment to the roof and a pattern of adhesive areas on its upper side for allowing a construction worker to walk on the underlayment without slipping. The upper adhesive layer also prevents tools and other objects such as stacks of shingles from sliding off of the roof during construction.

The method included sensing a parameter indicative of the ground speed of the work machine and responsively producing a signal indicative of the actual ground speed, providing a predetermined maximum ground speed of the work machine, receiving the signal indicative of the actual ground speed and the predetermined maximum ground speed of the work machine by the ECM, applying an algorithm to determine the desirable RPM of the engine of the work machine, and modulating the engine RPMs to the desirable engine RPMs to maintain a constant ground speed of the work machine.

摘要： A hand held Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) reader is provided. The reader includes a housing having a perimeter around an inner edge. The reader also includes a full-sized dipole antenna including two antenna elements coupled by a balun transformer. The antenna has nearly a unity gain over a range of angles. The reader also includes a transceiver, coupled to the dipole antenna by a suitable cable, the transceiver adapted to send and receive signals. The reader further includes a processor for processing signals received at the antenna. The first and the second antenna segments of the dipole antenna are wrapped along the perimeter around the inner edge of the housing.

摘要： A power supply generates alternating current and direct current from a constant-voltage source. A multi-phase pulse width modulation voltage source inverter is connected across the source to output multi-phase alternating current. At least one waveform generator is bridged in parallel with the inverter, with each waveform generator outputting zero-sequence waveform current compensated to maintain the multi-phase current within a predetermined tolerance from a desired set point. A rectifier receives the waveform current and generates direct current.
