Abstract: A display device for a work machine includes a position information acquisition unit configured to acquire position information of a work machine, a peripheral information acquisition unit configured to acquire peripheral information indicating an existing structure, terrain, or a boundary of a zone around a position indicated by the position information of the work machine, an augmented image generation unit configured to generate an augmented image in which the existing structure, the terrain, or the boundary of a zone is viewed from a predetermined viewpoint of the work machine, and a display processing unit configured to display the augmented image of the existing structure, the terrain, or the boundary of a zone while superimposing the augmented image on a field of view from the predetermined viewpoint of the work machine or on an image of the field of view.

Abstract: A ladder motor pump system comprises a hydraulic fluid tank that holds hydraulic fluid, a hydraulic pump that draws and pressurizes the hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic fluid tank, a one-way electric motor that drives the hydraulic pump, a hydraulic ladder actuator that actuates a ladder in first and second patterns, a hydraulic fluid circuit that routes the hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic ladder actuator to the hydraulic fluid tank, and a regulator that routes the pressurized hydraulic fluid from an outlet of the hydraulic pump to the hydraulic fluid tank when a pressure of the pressurized hydraulic fluid exceeds a preselected threshold pressure, mixing the pressurized hydraulic fluid with the unpressurized hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic fluid tank and reducing temperature of the pressurized hydraulic fluid. The electric motor and the pump include bosses providing increased ground connections to the electrical ground, thereby reducing electrical resistance and heat generated.

Abstract: A time period for which an ineffective operation is performed during an excavation work is reduced. A work machine includes a vehicular body, a running wheel rotatably attached to the vehicular body, a work implement operable with respect to the vehicular body, an operation apparatus for operating the running wheel and the work implement, and a controller that controls an operation by the work machine. The controller determines that an ineffective operation in which the work implement does not work is being performed during the excavation work based on an operation command value output from the operation apparatus and notifies an operator of occurrence of the ineffective operation.

Abstract: The hybrid type work vehicle includes: a traveling unit having a traveling electric motor; a hydraulic work unit having a hydraulic pump; and a control apparatus having an operation determination section configured to input the operation amount of an operation lever device, the depression amount of an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal, and a vehicle speed and to determine the current operation state of the vehicle, and a power computation section configured to input the output value of an engine and the output value of a power storage device and to calculate and control the power of the traveling unit and the power of the hydraulic work unit. When the operation determination section determines that the current vehicle operation state is that of an excavation work which is a combined operation of the traveling unit and the hydraulic work unit, the power computation section calculates and controls the output power of the traveling unit and the output power of the hydraulic work unit such that the sum total of the output value of the engine and the output value of the power storage device is distributed in a preset ratio.

Abstract: To provide a construction machine including a novel preheating unit that can efficiently preheat entire circulation channel where fluid flows, and a preheating method of the construction machine. A bypass channel is arranged in a circulation channel through which the fluid is circulated, this bypass channel is provided with the preheating unit that is formed of a heater and a bypass pump. According to such configuration, even in a state circulation of the fluid may stop in the circulation channel, the fluid can be heated while the fluid is circulated through the bypass channel, and therefore the entire circulation channel can be efficiently preheated. Moreover, since retrofitting to the existing circulation channel is possible, sound versatility can be exerted.

Abstract: Provided is a hybrid work machine in which a hybrid system and a downsized engine are used. The hybrid work machine improves fuel consumption, improves exhaust characteristics, and reduces noise. The hybrid work machine also performs rapid charging of a power storage device while preventing decreases in the output power of a hydraulic pump if the charge amount of the power storage device is extremely insufficient. A vehicle body controller 46 performs engine revolution speed decreasing control in which, if the charge rate of a battery 33 becomes equal to or less than a minimum charge rate, the target revolution speed of an engine 11 is reduced. The vehicle body controller also performs torque reducing control in which the maximum absorption torque of a hydraulic pump 21 is reduced. By performing these control operations, the vehicle body controller coercively generates surplus torque for the engine and operates a generator-motor 31 as a generator with the use of the surplus torque, thereby rapidly charging the battery.

Abstract: A travelling frame of a travelling device positioned between a center frame and a travelling motor attachment portion includes an upper plate extended toward the center side of the vehicle to form an extended portion. A long hole into which travelling motor hydraulic piping is inserted is formed in the upper plate along the extended portion. The travelling motor hydraulic piping extends from a lead-out hole opened in an end plate of the center frame, through the long hole of the upper plate and a long hole opened in an end plate, and inserted into the travelling motor attachment portion.
