Such input is examined such that a device may ignore unintentional and resting contact while reacting only to purposeful contact. 摘要: A method, apparatus, and system are disclosed for adapting power consumption. A recording module records a usage record for each component within a computer at scheduled audit times. The usage record comprises a usage level, an application list, a time stamp, a network access point, a computation category, a time category, and a location category. A scenario module creates a plurality of usage scenarios. Each usage scenario comprises a unique combination of a specified computation category, a specified time category, and a specified location category. A profile module creates a power setting profile for each usage scenario. Each power setting profile specifies a target power status for each component of the computer. A scenario detection module detects a first usage scenario. An adjustment module sets a power status of each component to the first usage scenario target power status for the component.

摘要: Systems and methods that provide for voice command devices that receive sound but do not transfer the voice data beyond the system unless certain voice-filtering criteria have been met are described herein. In addition, embodiments provide devices that support voice command operation while external voice data transmission is in mute operation mode. As such, devices according to embodiments may process voice data locally responsive to the voice data matching voice-filtering criteria. Furthermore, systems and methods are described herein involving voice command devices that capture sound and analyze it in real-time on a word-by-word basis and decide whether to handle the voice data locally, transmit it externally, or both.

摘要: An electronic device receives a stop position tag that indicates a stop position within first electronic content which is a first sensory type. The electronic device identifies a start position within second electronic content using the stop position tag. The second electronic content is a second sensory type that is different than the first sensory type. In turn, the electronic device executes the second electronic content at the identified start position. In one embodiment, the first sensory type is an auditory sensory type and the second sensory type is an image sensory type.

摘要: Systems, methods and products are described that provide predictive power state transitions for information handling devices. One aspect includes ascertaining a power state transitioning pattern of an information handling device; responsive to a power state transition to a first lower power state at the information handling device, performing an additional power state transition to automatically transition the information handling device to a second lower power state, the second lower power state being a lower power state relative to the first lower power state; and proactively resuming the information handling device to the first lower power state responsive to a timing threshold being met; wherein the timing threshold is determined based on the power state transitioning pattern ascertained. Other embodiments are described.
