Abstract: An induction heated tool system for receiving and heating polymer-fiber components from a starting temperature to a target temperature includes a tool part having a receiving cutout, the tool part formed from a thermally dimensionally stable material so it has a coefficient of thermal longitudinal expansion less than 10×10−6 K−1, or less than 5×10−6 K−1, or less than 4×10−6 K−1 in the plane of the largest dimension of the receiving cutout, at temperatures between the starting and target temperatures. A receiving cutout for receiving a polymer-fiber component is in the tool part, the receiving cutout delimited by a receiving surface portion so a polymer-fiber component received in the receiving cutout can lie against the receiving surface portion. A susceptor element includes a ferromagnetic material with a first Curie temperature. The susceptor element is on a surface portion of the tool part outside the receiving cutout and the receiving surface portion.

Abstract: Method for producing composite components having an undevelopable surface. To be able to maintain the tolerances when manufacturing especially large components in the case of composite components with undevelopable surfaces, it is proposed according to the invention to drape a cut-to-size blank on a molding tool and to determine the deviation of the cut-to-size blank edge from the setpoint cut-to-size edge. Then, on the basis of the deviation, a new cut-to-size blank edge is calculated, and a new cut-to-size blank is created and re-draped for examination purposes. The method is repeated until the deviations are below a tolerable threshold value. The method is furthermore carried out for each textile ply of the composite component.

Abstract: A device for a lacquer transfer includes a frame, transfer roller with a circumferential lateral wall, drive unit for rotating the transfer roller, and slit nozzle with a muzzle end for dispensing lacquer. The slit nozzle includes a first nozzle-part, second nozzle-part and deformation unit. The deformation unit is attached to the first nozzle-part, the lateral wall passing in a rotation direction subsequently the deformation unit and the muzzle end during transfer unit rotation. The lateral wall of the transfer roller is deformed by the deformation unit in the radial direction resulting in a deformation section of the lateral wall in the rotation direction behind the deformation unit, the muzzle end of the slit nozzle arranged for dispensing lacquer into depressions of the lateral wall. The transfer roller can roll with the outside contact surface on a work surface of a work piece for transferring lacquer from the depressions to the work surface of the work piece.

Abstract: A device for a lacquer transfer is disclosed having a transfer roller, the transfer roller includes a cylindrical support body, a first ring element, a second ring element, and a tire, wherein the tire comprises a middle section forming a circumferential outer contact surface with several depressions. The transfer roller is configured to roll with the outer contact surface on a work surface of a workpiece for transferring lacquer from the outer contact surface and from the depressions to the work surface of the workpiece. The tire includes two annular end sections, which are attached to the support body resulting in two axially separated and circumferentially extending connections. The tire, the connections, and the outer shell of the support body are fluid-tight and arranged such that a fluid-tight main cavity is formed between the tire and the support body. The first and second ring elements are arranged in the main cavity and seated on the support body at a predefined distance in an axial direction (A) of the transfer roller from one another.

The deformation unit is arranged to elastically deform the lateral wall resulting in a respective first deformation section of the lateral wall passing through the first angular range and a respective second deformation section of the lateral wall passing through the second angular range.
