    摘要: A system for inductively heating a workpiece may include an induction coil, at least one susceptor face sheet, and a current controller coupled. The induction coil may be configured to conduct an alternating current and generate a magnetic field in response to the alternating current. The susceptor face sheet may be configured to have a workpiece positioned therewith. The susceptor face sheet may be formed of a ferromagnetic alloy having a Curie temperature and being inductively heatable to an equilibrium temperature approaching the Curie temperature in response to the magnetic field. The current controller may be coupled to the induction coil and may be configured to adjust the alternating current in a manner causing a change in at least one heating parameter of the susceptor face sheet.

    摘要: Described herein is a method of forming tooling used to form a material. The method includes positioning a first susceptor made from a first susceptor material between first and second dies. At least one of the first and second dies includes a forming surface having a desired shape. The method further includes positioning a second susceptor made from a second susceptor material between the first and second dies such that the first susceptor is interposed between the second susceptor and the forming surface. Additionally, the method includes positioning a first bladder between the first and second dies such that the second susceptor is interposed between the first bladder and the first susceptor. Also, the method includes inflating the first bladder to concurrently deform the first susceptor and second susceptor into the desired shape.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a tool such as an injection moulding tool or an embossing tool. A heating device including a stack of layers is provided for heating a tool surface. The stack may include a coil carrier layer with a number of wound coils for generating a magnetic field, and a conductive top layer, being adjacent to the tool surface currents are induced in the top layer to heat the surface. Efficient heating may be provided by solutions involving low resistivity layers that lead currents to the top layer without themselves developing heat to any greater extent.
