摘要： An IC card that allows a service provider doing a business of loading an application into the IC card to dynamically load the application into the IC card safely after the issuance of the IC card without making a contract directly with a card issuer issuing the IC card and without establishing a communication with the card issuer. The card issuer issuing the IC card hands over an encryption key in advance to a third party other than the card issuer in order to entrust the third party with work to authenticate an application to be loaded or to allow the third party to function as an agent on behalf of the card issuer. The card issuer issues an agent certification to the third party to be used as evidence showing that the third party is an agent representing the card issuer.

Its specific configuration will be described as below. A method for loading an application program in a smart card comprises the steps of: in response to a request for loading one application program for a smart card in the smart card that has been reissued based on an old smart card, judging whether or not said one application program was loaded in the old smart card, according to a relationship between a card id of the reissued smart card and a card id of the old smart card; and if it is found out that said one application program was loaded, loading said one application program in the reissued smart card.

摘要： The invention provides a method that enables loading/unloading a plurality of types of games as part of an application program, typically, a game application program installed on a smart card system with high ability of storing information for which highly-reliable security is achievable, extending the use range of the card. Of a program to run on the card, the processing parts that can be executed in common are packaged as modules and game definitions described in scripts are loaded/unloaded into/from the card as required from a terminal operating with the card. In the program, a script interpreter that interprets and executes scripts, a controller that controls scripts loading/unloading, a controller that performs the management of point data and rights to play game are prepared, whereby dynamic loading/unloading of types of games is possible and one application can offer a plurality of types of games that can be selectively executed.
