摘要: A delivery device for delivering articles to be heated within a compound furnace, including at least two furnace chambers differing in heating conditions and which can effectively prevent damage to the articles by melt adhesion due to contact with each other and which can also reduce the adverse influence of high temperatures upon the component members of the delivery device is disclosed as including clamps which are capable of reciprocating within a delivery passage and which have the function of clamping and unclamping the articles to be heated so as to deliver or transport the same. Running rods, upon which the clamps are fixed, are adapted to move along the delivery passage and a main drive source for driving the rods and clamps, as well as a subsidiary drive source for performing the clamping and unclamping operations of the clamps are also provided. A movement converting transmission mechanism for converting the linear driving force of the subsidiary drive source into a rotary drive force for rotating the running rods in order to actuate the clamps for performance of the clamping and unclamping operations is included and a clamp positioning mechanism for determining the stopping position of the clamps is operatively associated with the running rods. The movement converting transmission mechanism may include a rack-and-pinion mechanism, a slide bar or rod-crank mechanism, an actuator-gear mechanism, or a cylindrical cam mechanism.

摘要: A method for manufacturing an integrated wheel for a vehicle, on which a tire is mounted, by a combination of die forging work, press spreading work and rotative ironing work, the method including the steps of integrally molding by die forging work a disc of the wheel and a thick tubular portion whose outer peripheral surface is made approximately parallel to the axial direction of the wheel through the root portion enlarged in the outer peripheral edge of the disc in the diametrically outward direction; performing the work for spreading both axial end edges of the thick tube portion in the diametrically outward direction by means of a press and work for pressing a rotative ironing tool against the axial intermediate portion of the thick tubular portion carried out after or prior to said spreading step; allowing the material to escape in a direction opposite the travelling direction of the rotative ironing tool in the subsequent step during pressing; and thereafter pressing the rotative ironing tool against the pressed portion to move the tool in the other axial direction by the pressed portion for rotative ironing to draw the other axial portion.

摘要: An improved multiple roller spinning machine for spinning vehicle one-piece wheels is disclosed in which the roller holder is capable of sliding in a direction parallel with the axis of spinning and has a hydraulic cylinder which moves through its axially movable piston rod the holder horizontally thereby bringing the multiple rollers sequentially in to an operating position just above the wheel material clamped between the dies of the driving and driven spindles. Each of the multiple rollers is coupled to a control hydraulic cylinder which drives through its piston the respective roller vertically between a retracted position and a drawing position where the roller is pressed against the periphery of the wheel material. Thus, not only can the sequence of different drawing steps, in a most preferable embodiment, from rough to finishing drawing, be completed in an automatic continued manner, but also operation of the hydraulic cylinder to shift the holder, with the particular roller pressed against the material periphery being set in spinning, causes the roller to draw a wider range than its size across the U-cross section portion of the periphery. According to another embodiment, the holder carries therein multiple rows of different forming rollers arranged radially about a common center such that the wheel material can be subject to drawing by multiple rollers simultaneously applied at different points about the material periphery.

摘要: An upsetter having a bed, a grip tong having one end thereof pivotally connected to one end of the bed, a row of split dies provided at the other free ends of the bed and grip tong and each having opposing upset die sections and clamp die sections, an upset mechanism including punches extractably protrudable into the dies, and a pair of pull rods pivotally supported on opposite sides of the dies to impart a required die closing force to the respective dies when tensioned, an upsetter mechanism for adjusting the tensile force of the pull rods to produce a desired die closing force which includes a clamping force closing the clamp die sections and a gripping force closing the upset die section in the forging stage, permitting adjustment of the clamping and gripping forces independently to each other.
