    摘要: A method for manufacturing an organic EL display panel includes; forming first display electrodes corresponding to emitting portions and bonding pads arranged at a periphery of an image-region as a patterning step; forming electrically insulative ramparts for exposing at least portions of the first display electrodes and protruding from the substrate as a rampart formation step, the each electrically insulative rampart having an overhanging portion projecting in a direction parallel to the substrate preferably at an upper and further having extensions each extending between the adjacent bonding pads to isolate the adjacent bonding pads each other and define a bonding-region between the adjacent extensions on each the bonding pad; depositing organic electroluminescent media onto exposed portions of the first display electrodes respectively, thereby forming organic function layers each including at least one organic electroluminescent medium on the first display electrodes; and forming second display electrodes on the organic function layers and the bonding-regions of the bonding pads so as to electrically connect to the bonding pads.

    摘要: An organic EL full color display panel includes a plurality of transparent electrode lines formed in parallel on a base plate; an insulating layer formed on the base plate, the insulating layer covering respective edges of the transparent electrode lines and having openings formed correspondingly to pixel regions on the transparent electrode lines; at least one organic EL material layer formed so as to correspond to the pixel regions and having any light-emitting function of R, G and B, and a plurality of metallic electrode lines arranged in parallel perpendicularly to the transparent electrode lines, each of the metallic electrode entirely covering the pixel regions of the three pixels of R, G and B. The insulating layer insulates the transparent electrode lines and metallic electrode lines from each other in other regions than the pixel regions. In this configuration, the organic full color display panel can emit a specified color surely at low cost.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing an organic EL display panel having a plurality of emitting portions surrounded by ramparts and arranged as a matrix. The method includes the steps of forming a plurality of first display electrodes corresponding to emitting portions on a substrate; forming, on the substrate around the first display electrodes, electrical insulation ramparts surrounding the first display electrodes respectively; putting a shadow mask onto top surfaces of the ramparts, the shadow mask having a plurality of openings each exposing the first display electrode in the rampart, and aligning the openings to the first display electrodes respectively; depositing organic electroluminescent media through the openings onto the first display electrodes in the ramparts respectively, thereby forming organic function layers each including at least one organic electroluminescent medium on the first display electrodes in the ramparts; and forming a second display electrode formed all over or in stripe on the ramparts and the organic function layers. In the method, the mask putting and aligning step and the media depositing step are repeated in such a manner of that the shadow mask is shifted to an adjacent portion, whereby the openings are aligned to adjacent other first display electrodes, thereby enabling a highly efficient manufacturing method.

A method for forming the layered wiring line includes steps of: layering the silver or silver alloy conductor layer and the protective conductor layer on a substrate in turn; making the protective conductor layer in contact with a liquid etchant common to the silver or silver alloy conductor layer and the protective conductor layer by a predetermined pattern. The protective conductor layer has a thickness satisfying a relationship in that a ratio of (the protective conductor layer's thickness)/(the silver or silver alloy conductor layer's thickness) is less than that of (a solution velocity of the protective conductor layer in the liquid etchant)/(a solution velocity of the silver or silver alloy conductor layer in the liquid etchant).
