摘要： A polyphenylene ether resin composition having improved heat stability and good color, said composition comprising a polyphenylene ether resin matrix, and dispersed therein, a diphosphonite of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 groups are identical or different and each represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms.

摘要： A polyphenylene ether resin composition having improved heat stability, said composition comprising a polyphenylene ether resin matrix, and dispersed therein, a phosphonic acid or its derivative of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl or naphthyl group, or a linear or branched alkyl group with 1 to 18 carbon atoms, or a group of the following formula (a) ##STR2## R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are identical or different and each represents hydrogen atom, a metal, an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl group, or an alkyl group with 1 to 10 carbon atoms; and R.sub.4 is a divalent hydrocarbon group with 2 to 10 carbon atoms.

摘要： A polyphenylene ether resin composition having improved heat stability, said composition comprising a polymer matrix composed of a polyphenylene ether resin and a vinyl aromatic resin, and dispersed in the polymer matrix, at least one compound selected from the group consisting of(1). 2-(3,5-di-C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl-4-hydroxyanilino)-4,6-di-C.sub.5 -C.sub.15 -alkylthio-1,3,5-triazines,(2). .omega.,.omega.'-thiodi(C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 polymethylene)-bis[3-(3,5-di-C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-polymethylene(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)-carboxylates],(3). N,N'-C.sub.2 -C.sub.10 polymethylene-bis[(3,5-di-C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-polymethylene(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)carboxamides], and(4). tetrakis-{methylene-[(3,5-di-C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-polymethylene(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)carboxylate]}methanes.
