    摘要: A computer system includes a server system and a storage system. The server system is configured to manage a plurality of virtual machines, each of which has a virtual machine interface. The storage system is configured to manage a plurality of virtual storage systems, each of which has a virtual storage interface. A first virtual machine is related to a first virtual storage system of the plurality of virtual storage systems. If the first virtual machine issues a first command to the first virtual storage system through a first virtual machine interface of the first virtual machine, the server system adds information of a first identifier, which is assigned to a first virtual storage interface of the first virtual storage system related to the first virtual machine, to the first command, and sends the first command to the storage system.

    摘要: Provided is a technique capable of efficiently operating files and directories that are stored in storage located in a physically far place from a file server, without causing a network latency. An index creation program is also loaded in a cloud computing environment, and a flag, which indicates whether or not to execute batch processing to a directory that has been migrated to the cloud side, is provided, whereby it becomes possible to collectively execute index creation processing for the migrated directory on the cloud side. More specifically, upon completion of migration of all files under a given directory to the cloud side, a flag, which indicates whether or not to perform batch processing on the cloud side, is validated for the metadata of the directory. Such a batch processing flag can be held for each application such as applications of the index creation processing and the virus check processing.

    摘要: The prior art information system could not migrate a file in a file sharing system provided by a file storage to a plurality of cloud storages having different forms of connection and different properties, and therefore, could not manage the files via a single Stub information. The present invention provides a data mover program in a file storage to select one or more migration destination cloud storages based on a migration policy, a connection information table of cloud storages and a property information table of cloud storages. Then, a Stub information of the migrated file is created, and an identification information of the file in the cloud storage is stored in a file information table. When access occurs from a client to a file storage, the data mover program downloads a file from the cloud storage stored in the file information table corresponding to the Stub information and provides the file to the client.
