    摘要: An electronic monitoring system is described that receives data from a particular monitoring system, receives data from multiple other monitoring systems, analyzes data received from the particular monitoring system irrespective of data received from the multiple other monitoring systems, based on the analysis, determines whether one or more events occur at the particular environment, and in response to determining that a particular event occurs at the particular environment, evaluates the particular event against a set of rules, selects, based on the evaluation results, a particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems to serve as a cooperative monitoring network, assesses data received from the particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems, based on the assessment, tracks, in connection with the particular event, events detected by the particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems, and handles the particular event based on the tracked events.

    摘要: Monitoring system alert technology, in which monitoring system data is accessed from a monitoring system that is located in a property of a user and the monitoring system data is analyzed against one or more rules that define alerts provided for the monitoring system. Based on the analysis, a determination is made that an alert for the monitoring system is needed and conditions for providing the alert are accessed. Location of a mobile device of a user associated with the monitoring system and timing related to providing the alert are monitored. The monitored location of the mobile device and the monitored timing are analyzed with respect to the accessed conditions. Based on the analysis, a determination is made that the accessed conditions for providing the alert are met and the alert is output at the mobile device.

    摘要: Techniques are described for provisioning Wi-Fi network connectivity for a wireless device without requiring a user to provide network credentials to allow the wireless device to establish a network connection. In some implementations, a method is performed by a computing device to provision a wireless network connection. A MAC address associated with a property is obtained. A temporary network credential for the wireless device is determined based on the MAC Address of the wireless device. The temporary network credential permits the wireless device to connect to a temporary network. The temporary network credential for the wireless device is available over the temporary network. A determination that the wireless device has connected to the temporary network using the temporary network credential for the wireless device is made. An instruction is transmitted to the wireless device over the temporary network in response to the determination.

A monitoring system includes a sensor that is configured to generate sensor data, as well as a failsafe circuit that is configured to monitor an electronic signal of the sensor and determine that the sensor is recording. The system can further include a control unit that receives indication from the failsafe circuit that the sensor is recording and, based on determining that the control unit did not request the sensor to record or that the control unit is not aware that the sensor is recording, the system outputs a signal, e.g. to an indicator light, indicating that the sensor is recording.

    摘要: A monitoring system that is configured to monitor a property is disclosed. The monitoring system includes a passive infrared (PIR) sensor configured to generate reference PIR data that represents motion within an area of the property; an auxiliary sensor configured to generate auxiliary sensor data that represents an attribute of the area of the property; and a motion sensor device. The motion sensor device is configured to: obtain the reference PIR data; determine that a first set of motion detection criteria is satisfied by the reference PIR data; in response to determining that the first set of motion detection criteria is satisfied by the reference PIR data, obtain the auxiliary sensor data; obtain a second set of motion detection criteria based on the reference PIR data and the auxiliary sensor data; and determine whether the second set of motion detection criteria is satisfied by additional PIR data.
