摘要： Hydrostatic supporting apparatus which supports, without physical contact, a mobile part which moves relatively to a load-bearing part. The apparatus comprises a supporting piston which has at least one hydrostatic bearing pocket which provides a pressure cushion through which the mobile part is supported, and which is urged toward the mobile part by a controlled pressure which increases and decreases, respectively, as the piston moves toward and away from the load-bearing part. Preferably, pressure control is effected by a throttle valve interposed either in a supply path leading from a source of pressure medium to the pressure chamber of a hydraulic supporting motor, or in a feed passage leading from that pressure chamber to the bearing pocket. The pressure cushion of the supporting piston may act directly upon the mobile part, or it may carry an auxiliary hydrostatic supporting element which has its own supply of pressure medium and provides a second pressure cushion which actually supports the mobile part. The apparatus may also include a safety device which serves to maintain supporting pressure for the piston upon failure of the main pressurizing circuit.

摘要： Hydrostatic apparatus for supporting a mobile part which moves relatively to a foundation comprises a bearing shoe having a bearing face containing a pressure pocket, and a hydraulic servomotor which exerts on the shoe a force urging it toward the mobile part. A support element connected with the shoe and the foundation positively holds the shoe against movement in at least one direction along its supporting axis, and its restraint is so correlated with the pressure forces acting on the shoe that the latter is rendered non-displaceable. Depending upon the relative magnitudes of the forces developed by the servomotor and by the pressure acting on the bearing face, the support element may normally be unloaded, loaded in tension or loaded in compression. In the first case, the support element prevents movement of the shoe in opposite directions along the support axis, whereas in the second and third cases it may permit movement of the shoe toward and away from the foundation, respectively.

摘要： An apparatus is disclosed comprising a strand guide formed by guide plates which are supported and cooled by hydrostatic support elements. The support elements each include a cylinder and a piston which is stressed against the guide plate by pressure fluid supplied to the cylinder. The pistons are each provided with a bearing pad having a plurality of recesses each supplied with fluid at a constant rate which forms hydrostatic support for and cools the guide plates. The forces exerted by the support elements may be controlled by pressure regulating valves in the fluid supply lines leading thereto in response to sensors which sense positional shifts of the guide plates from a set point. The apparatus may also include a controller for the valves which periodically reduces the pressure of the fluid supplied to the support elements sufficiently to allow the casting to move along the strand guide.

摘要： Pump-like inlet blading has operatively connected therewith a multi-stage stepped diffusor axially opening into a separation chamber. For the removal of light particles, openings or recesses are provided at the outlet side of an inner cylinder and such merge with withdrawal channels at the inner cylinder. If necessary, there are provided for the heavy particles a collecting groove at least in front of turbine-like outlet blading and from which lead openings, so-called saveall openings towards the outside. These saveall openings are briefly alternatingly opened and closed during operation of the stock suspension cleaner. The fluid stream of the cleaned stock suspension is removed by the turbine-like outlet blading. At least one part of the inner cylinder which delimits the separation chamber is separately rotatable relative to the outer cylinder, so that such inner cylinder part can be rotated at a different rotational speed than the outer cylinder. The inner cylinder part carries at least one scraper which, during operation, clears the inner wall of the outer cylinder to preclude any caking thereat of heavy particle accumulations and promoting further conveyance of the heavy particles. The rotating inner cylinder part also carries a pusher ring which revolving moves in the collecting groove, pushes the heavy particles towards the saveall openings and alternately opens and closes these saveall openings.

There is also provided heating of the hydraulic liquid which is infed to the controlled deflection roll by a pump device. The pressure line of the pump device is connected by means of a heat exchanger with a return flow line. Connected after the heat exchanger is a cooling device having a temperature regulator. In the pressure line there is arranged following the heat exchanger a heating device. The return flow line is connected by means of an overflow valve with a container for hydraulic medium which is fed to a heating device for the controlled deflection roll.
