Abstract: Some embodiments provide for obtaining image data representative of a field of view of a camera as captured by the camera of an A/V recording and communication device. The image data may be analyzed and, based at least in part on the analysis, it may be determined that the image data is representative of a first facial image of a person and a second facial image of the person. From the facial images, it may be determined that the first facial image is of higher quality than the second facial image and, based on this determination, a frame may be selected that is represented by the image data and corresponds to the first facial image. A notification may be generated that includes a portion of the image data that represents the frame, and the notification may be transmitted to a client device associated with the A/V recording and communication device.

Abstract: Video footage captured by A/V recording and communication devices may be readily uploaded to the cloud and shared with a requesting party, such as a law enforcement agency. When a request is received from a requesting party for video footage, videos meeting the criteria specified by the requesting party may be determined. Consent requests may then be sent to users associated with each of the A/V recording and communication devices that recorded the videos meeting the criteria specified by the requesting party. When user consents to share the videos, the videos may be provided to the requesting party.

Abstract: Systems and methods for augmenting and sharing data from audio/video (A/V) recording and communication devices are provided. Abstract: The present application is directed to techniques and processes for using various types of data to generate criminal statistics associated with a geographic area. For instance, a system may store first criminal statistics for a first geographical area. The system may further store image data generated by an electronic device and information describing the image data. Next, the system may determine a second geographic area for generating second criminal statistics, where at least a portion of the first geographic area is located within the second geographic area. The system may then determine that at least a portion of the first criminal statistics occurred in the second geographic area and the electronic device is located in the second geographic area. Based on the determinations, the system may generate the second criminal statistics, where the second criminal statistics includes at least a portion of the first criminal statistics and the information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for communicating in a network using share signals in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure are provided. In one embodiment, a method for communicating in a network may include receiving, from a first client device, a share signal including first image data captured by a camera of a first audio/video (A/V) recording and communication device and a command to share the first image data with a network of users; processing the share signal by comparing the first image data to second image data captured by a camera of a second A/V recording and communication device; and generating and transmitting an alert to a second client device associated with the second A/V recording and communication device when comparison of the first image data with the second image data indicates a person of interest is depicted in both the first image data and the second image data.
