摘要: Porting between local, cluster, and cloud execution is aided by using the same source code for multiple data sources. A data source identifier recited in source code maps to data sources at different execution targets. Executable codes tailored to successive targets are produced using a resolution API without changing the developer's source code. An editable data source mapping is per-project, maintained in a file or project property, and placed in a distributable software package with executable code. Burdens on developers to determine execution targets in their source code and explicitly handle different execution locations in the source code are reduced. Source code can be freed of absolute path data source identifiers or code for detecting execution location. Source-to-source translation injects calls to create a folder, file, or cloud container. Data source resolution can be based on a relative path rooted at the data source identifier.

摘要: A vehicle seat includes a seat back having a support frame coupled to a seat foundation. The seat back also further includes a deformable seat shell adapted to assume various shapes between initial position and final positions in response to variable rearward loads applied by a seated passenger. The seat shell is coupled to the support frame by a compliant shell-motion controller via upper and lower motion-control links. The motion-control links allow pivotal motion, and at least one of the links includes a spheroidal joint. A link foundation extends between and interconnects the upper and lower motion-control links and is coupled to the support frame so that the link foundation does not move during seat shell deformation. The shell-motion controller may be pre-assembled as part of a backrest or the motion-control links may be formed after the link foundation is attached to the support frame.

摘要: In one aspect of the present invention, a method for increasing the dielectric breakdown strength of a polymer is described. The method comprises providing the polymer and contacting a surface of the polymer in a reaction chamber with a gas plasma, under specified plasma conditions. The polymer is selected from the group consisting of a polymer having a glass transition temperature of at least about 150° C., and a polymer composite comprising at least one inorganic constituent. The contact with the gas plasma is carried out for a period of time sufficient to incorporate additional chemical functionality into a surface region of the polymer film, to provide a treated polymer. Also provided are an article and method of manufacture.
