摘要： A self-pulling corkscrew is provided. The corkscrew includes a body comprised of a first arm extending downwardly from a central portion and a second arm extending downwardly from the central portion. The first and second arms each having an inner surface and an outer surface wherein the inner surfaces of the first arm and the second arm cooperatively define a bottle receiving cavity. The corkscrew further includes a first groove traversing at least a portion of the outer surface of the first arm and a second groove traversing at least a portion of the outer surface of the second arm. One of either the first and second grooves has a first depth at a proximate end of the groove and a second depth at a distal end of the groove. The corkscrew is further comprised of a sleeve, a handgrip and a screw. The sleeve is slidably engaged with the first and second arms and has a first inwardly projecting protrusion and a second inwardly projecting protrusion. The first protrusion cooperatively engages the first groove and the second protrusion cooperatively engages the second groove. The handgrip is attached to the body proximate the central portion, and the screw is coupled to the handgrip. The screw extends into the bottle receiving cavity between the inner surfaces of the first and second arms.

摘要： A microinjection pump for administration of fluid pharmacological compounds to unrestrained and freely behaving animals is provided. The micro-pump employs a screw drive mechanism that is actuated by a small stepper motor. The pump moves fluids by direct mechanical displacement from two micro-syringes arranged in parallel. The drive mechanism incorporates a threaded central drive screw that is attached to the stepper motor drive shaft, The threads of the central drive screw engage the threads of two parallel, but oppositely turned (left hand turned and right hand turned) threaded rods. By the frictional action of the helical threads of the threaded drive screw with the threads of the threaded rods the threaded rods are moved linearly and depress the plungers of the attached micro-liter syringes. Medications are administered to animals through flexible tubing. An attached electrical swivel allows power to be delivered to the pump motor while allowing the micro-injector to pivot and move with the animal without binding or twisting the flexible tubing.

摘要： An impression creating apparatus or image display and method for a laptop computer is disclosed. The laptop computer has a cover panel with an exposed outer surface and a screen on an interior portion. The exposed outer surface of the laptop computer cover panel has a peripheral edge. The image display has a frame, a means for attaching the frame to the exposed outer surface of the laptop's cover panel, and an impression creating layer or image insert. The device can also have a translucent cover. The frame has a border at least partially surrounding a compartment. The image insert can be inserted into the compartment for creating the impression. The translucent cover can overlay at least a portion of the image insert. The method allows an individual and/or entity to attach the frame of the image display to the back side of the display housing of the laptop computer with the means for attaching, select an image insert for inserting into the frame based on a target audience that will be able to see the selected image insert within the frame on the back side of the display of the laptop after revealing the laptop to the target audience, insert the selected image insert into the frame, and display the laptop computer and the selected image insert within the frame to the target audience.
