摘要: A device, system, and method adaptively adjusts monitoring for opportunities. The method is performed at a user equipment (UE) configured to control an operation of a transceiver, the transceiver configured to enable the UE to establish a connection with a Long Term Evolution (LTE) network, the user equipment and the LTE network configured with and utilizing a Connected Discontinuous Reception (CDRX) functionality. The method includes receiving a response from the LTE network for an uplink transmission. When the response is an acknowledgement (ACK), the method includes determining whether a value of a network parameter associated with the connection with the LTE network satisfies a predetermined threshold. When the network parameter satisfies the predetermined threshold, the method includes omitting a monitoring opportunity to verify that the ACK is a true ACK.

摘要: An evolved Node B (eNB) serves as a primary serving cell (PCell) providing a primary component carrier (PCC) in a licensed spectrum to a user equipment (UE) in a carrier aggregation (CA) scheme. A secondary component carrier (SCC) is provided in an unlicensed spectrum. The eNB monitors parameters of bandwidths in the unlicensed spectrum, when at least one of the parameters indicates a change in availability of a select one of the bandwidths, the eNB generates a control indicator defining the change in availability of the bandwidth and broadcasts the control indicator to the UE, wherein the control indicator affects a modification in a transceiver of the UE associated with the bandwidth.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed for coding video data in which frames from a video source are partitioned into a plurality of tiles of common size, and the tiles are coded as a virtual video sequence according to motion-compensated prediction, each tile treated as having respective temporal location of the virtual video sequence. The coding scheme permits relative allocation of coding resources to tiles that are likely to have greater significance in a video coding session, which may lead to certain tiles that have low complexity or low motion content to be skipped during coding of the tiles for select source frames. Moreover, coding of the tiles may be ordered to achieve low coding latencies during a coding session.

The method includes determining an upcoming first change of a state of the UE with respect to the first connection and transmitting, to the first network, an indication of the first change of state of the UE. The method further includes changing the state of the UE with respect to the first connection.

The method includes determining an SR is to be transmitted to the LTE network, determining an uplink grant behavior of the eNB, when the uplink grant behavior of the eNB indicates that previous uplink grants satisfy a threshold of previous grants occurring in onDurations of the cycle of a C-DRX functionality, selecting one of the at least one SR opportunity that follows a next onDuration relative to when the indication is received and scheduling the SR in the one of the at least one SR opportunity that follows the next onDuration. The method further including determining an uplink grant turnaround time associated with the eNB, and selecting one of the at least one SR opportunity based on the uplink grant turnaround time.
