摘要: A user equipment (UE) is configured to receive, from a cell of a network, a system information block (SIB), determine values for scheduling information for the SIB without decoding a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) corresponding to the SIB and decode the SIB using the scheduling information. A UE is also configured to receive, from a cell of a network, a message to be decoded, receive, from a source different from the cell, additional information related to a portion of the message, determine the portion of the message using the additional information and decode the message based at least in part on the determined portion of the message.

摘要: An evolved Node B (eNB) serves as a primary serving cell (PCell) providing a primary component carrier (PCC) in a licensed spectrum to a user equipment (UE) in a carrier aggregation (CA) scheme. A secondary component carrier (SCC) is provided in an unlicensed spectrum. The eNB monitors parameters of bandwidths in the unlicensed spectrum, when at least one of the parameters indicates a change in availability of a select one of the bandwidths, the eNB generates a control indicator defining the change in availability of the bandwidth and broadcasts the control indicator to the UE, wherein the control indicator affects a modification in a transceiver of the UE associated with the bandwidth.

The method may include the UE performing a carrier sensing operation on the unlicensed band, determining, from the carrier sensing operation, a duration that the unlicensed band will be occupied, refraining from transmitting data to the second cell on the unlicensed band for the duration that the unlicensed band will be occupied and setting a transmitter in communication with the second cell to a low power mode for the duration that the unlicensed band will be occupied.

摘要: A device, system, and method uses a high power mode for a cellular connection. The method is performed at a device that is configured to establish a network connection to a network. The method includes detecting a number of at least one event that has occurred over a time period, the at least one event associated with operations used through the network connection, the at least one event indicative of a power to perform the operations that is greater than a predetermined power. When the number is at least a predetermined threshold, the method includes identifying the network connection as being in a high power state. The method includes activating settings when the network connection is in the high power state, the settings reducing a usage of the operations over the network connection.

摘要: A wireless device comprises a primary antenna, a primary transceiver, one or more secondary antennas and one or more receive diversity chains. The receive diversity chains, in some embodiments, include transceiver capability. The wireless device measures and collects various statistics. Based on the statistics, the wireless device enables or disables one or more of the receive diversity chains with respect to a cellular radio access technology (RAT). A disabled receive diversity chain, in some instances is then powered down. During an interval when a receive diversity chain is disabled, the control logic periodically or on an event-driven basis enables a given receive diversity chain to probe channel quality indicator (CQI) and channel rank values. In some embodiments, a time interval for collecting a portion of the statistics, is adapted or backed off in anticipation of use of the receive diversity chain, based on traffic circumstances.
