    Abstract: The present application relates to devices and components including apparatus, systems, and methods to provide adaptive physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring. In particular, a unified signaling technique for adaptive PDCCH search space monitoring is descried. This signaling can indicate either one or a combination of the switching and skipping. In an example, the signaling includes multiple parts. In a first part, radio resource control (RRC) signaling is sent from the network to the device to configure the device for switching only, skipping only, or switching and skipping. In a second part, first DCI is sent from the network to the device to indicate the particular PDCCH monitoring configuration to use for the PDCCH search space monitoring. Thereafter, network sends second DCI in the relevant PDCCH search space, where this second DCI schedules traffic. The device performs blind decoding to determine the second DCI in order to exchange the traffic.

In an exemplary embodiment, the device receives an indication to switch to the bandwidth part for the user equipment on the wireless link from the base station. The device further signals that the switching to the new bandwidth part has occurred in a time period smaller than a predefined time period. The deice additionally communicates information on the wireless link using the new bandwidth part.

    Abstract: The present application relates to a paging mechanism. In an example, a network can transmit SSBs periodically on multiple SSB beams. A UE can receive, during a DRX cycle, an SSB per detected SSB beam and perform SSB-based measurements. Based on these measurements, the UE can perform PDCCH monitoring and PDSCH decoding on at least two beams. The PDCCH monitoring can indicate a scheduled paging message from the network. The PDSCH decoding can allow the UE to determine the paging message.
