摘要： The disclosed invention relates to the fields of molecular biology and biochemistry. Thermophilic proteins and the nucleic acids encoding them are disclosed. The thermophilic proteins are from, or derived from, a bacteriophage, YS40, that infects the thermophilic bacterium Thermus thermophilus. These proteins have enhances stability, particularly at high temperatures.
