    摘要: An insertion instrument comprising an elongate shaft, a suction head provided at the front end thereof for connection to a joint socket, a suction device with a piston guided in the shaft, a suction line opening out at the suction head, and an actuating element which is guided along a guiding track on the shaft. The guiding track can be helically shaped and have a locking arrangement, preferably in the form of a recess, for the actuating element in a suction position. Due to the helical shape of the guiding track, the actuating element executes a rotational and longitudinal movement during its displacement. The longitudinal movement produces a negative pressure in the suction line ensuring maintenance of the pressure, while the rotating movement causes rotation of the actuating element such that it reaches its locking position at the end of the guiding track, providing simplified handling of the instrument.

    摘要: A bone spreader includes two tubular pin holders which are connected to one another by a parallel guide system, and two pins that are configured to be connected to the bone parts that are to be spread apart. In order to give the bone parts that are to be spread apart a more secure position in relation to one another, at least one of the pin holders is provided with a locking device for a pin located in the pin holder. This locking device includes a locking finger which is movable tangentially with respect to the pin holder and which, in the locking position, engages in a transverse groove of the associated pin and can be formed by a pivotably mounted hook.

    摘要: An intervertebral prosthesis, in particular for the cervical spine, includes a first cover plate to be connected to a first vertebral body, second cover plate to be connected to the second vertebral body, and a prosthesis core which forms an articulation with the second cover plate. The prosthesis core is held by seat of the first cover plate which is designed as a guide device. The core can be pushed into the guide device from the ventral side in the anterior-posterior (AP) direction relative to the first cover plate. A limit-stop plate is provided on the ventral edge of the first cover plate. This limit-stop plate is displaceable in a slide guide between a locking position and a nonlocking position.

    摘要: A knee prosthesis includes a femoral prosthetic part which forms a pair of condylar gliding surfaces, a tibial part that has tibial gliding surfaces cooperating with the condylar gliding surfaces and a coupling part that connects the femoral and tibial parts so that they can rotate about a rotational axis that is approximately parallel to the axis of the tibia. If the femoral and tibial parts have the same anteroposterior alignment, an applied load is borne by a central region of the tibial gliding surfaces. The tibial gliding surface slopes upwardly relative to the prosthesis both in front of and behind the central region of the tibial gliding surface so that when the femoral and tibial parts rotate against one another, each of the condylar gliding surfaces remains in contact with its corresponding tibial gliding surface.
