Abstract: A method includes charging PET bottle flakes having particular characteristics as a raw material into a crystallizer to generate a crystalline version thereof, drying the crystalline version with dehumidified air at a temperature of 160-180° C. and with a dew point of −40° C. to bring down a moisture level thereof below 100 ppm, melting the dried crystalline version through an extruder configured to have a temperature therein maintained at 285-295° C., and feeding the melted raw material into a spin beam. The method also includes generating, through a spinneret, a number of filaments based on extruding, through the spinneret, the melted raw material fed into the spin beam, forming a yarn based on combining the number of filaments, and winding the formed yarn to generate a spool of Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) configured to be utilized as another raw material to generate a Draw Texturized Yarn (DTY).

Abstract: A method includes drawing a roving thread from a roving bobbin through a roving guide, an aft drafting roller, and a mid drafting roller to a front drafting roller, and drawing a spandex core from a spandex bobbin using a guide roller. The method also includes associating the roving thread and the spandex core by drawing the roving thread and the spandex core in an approximately parallel fashion through the front drafting roller, and drawing the associated roving thread and the spandex core through a lappet hook and an anti-ballooning guide. Further, the method includes winding the drawn associated roving thread and the spandex core on a ring-frame bobbin including a ring traveler attached to a rotatable ring. The circular motion of the ring traveler around the ring-frame bobbin causes the drawn associated roving thread to twist around the drawn associated spandex core, forming a core spun yarn.

Abstract: A fluid dispenser is disclosed herein. An example of such a fluid dispenser includes a housing configured to store a quantity of fluid and an ejection assembly configured to controllably emit the fluid through a nozzle. The fluid dispenser also includes a fluid chamber configured both to supply a quantity of the fluid to the ejection assembly and to define a fluid flow path between the housing and the ejection assembly. The fluid dispenser further includes a filter positioned in the fluid flow path and configured both to conduct the fluid from the housing to the fluid chamber and to restrain particles in the fluid from entering the fluid chamber. The filter is further configured to define a bubble flow path that facilitates conduction of bubbles from the fluid chamber to the housing. Additional features of this fluid dispenser are disclosed herein, as are other examples of fluid dispensers.
