A method of producing a lightweight cement slurry comprising the addition of a nonaqueous fluid to cement and water wherein the water content is less than about 40% by total weight of the composition. A method of servicing a wellbore comprising preparing a cement composition comprising from about 80% by weight cement suspended in a nonaqueous fluid, and stabilizing said cement composition through the addition of a suspension aid.
