摘要: In general, the present invention is directed to a building panel, such as a gypsum board, comprising a core having a first side and a second side opposing the first side and at least one facing material having a coating comprising at least one fungicide, at least one polymeric binder, and at least one pigment. The panel satisfies at least one of the following: the board exhibits a rating of 2 or less when tested in accordance to ASTM G21-15 or the board exhibits a rating of at least 8 when tested in accordance to ASTM D3273-16. The panel may also exhibit at least a Level 3 finish.

摘要: Disclosed is a composite gypsum board comprising a board core and a concentrated layer of substantial thickness (e.g., at least about 0.02 inches). The concentrated layer includes a higher weight percentage of an enhancing additive than the hoard core. The board core has a thickness greater than the thickness of the concentrated layer and forms the bulk of the board volume. The concentrated layer has a higher density (e.g., at least about 1.1 times greater) than the density of the board core. Also disclosed is a method of preparing a composite gypsum board.

摘要: The aim of the invention is to provide a novel construction system for buildings, having the properties of being multilayer, insulating, ductile, and lightweight.
To this end, the invention relates to a multilayer insulating construction system for a building, characterized in that
(a) this system comprises at least one wall associated with at least one hardened insulation layer,
(b) the maximum thickness of the hardened insulation layer is between 1 and 60 cm,
(c) the hardened insulation has a bulk density (BD) in kg/m3 that is less than or equal to 450; 300; 250; 200; 150; 100; and more preferably between 50 and 300; 150 and 250;
(d) this hardened insulation layer is prepared by mixing, with water, a dry composition (d) comprising:
-A at least one binder including:
-A1- at least one hydraulic or air binder;
-A2- possibly at least one water retention agent
-A3- possibly at least one surfactant;
-B- at least one bio-sourced aggregate based on sunflower stalk and/or corn stalk and/or rape stalk, having a Bulk Density(BD) in kg/m3 that is less than 110; preferably between 10 and 80;
(e) this composition having a ratio of A/B [mass of dry binder -A- in kg]/[mass of dry filler -B- in kg] comprised between 1 and 10.
Another object of the invention is the dry composition which, after mixing with water, enables manufacturing the hardened insulation layer of this construction system. The invention also includes the method for manufacturing the construction system.-

摘要: The present disclosure relates to downhole fluid additives including a clay, a hydroxylated polymer, a cation, and water. The disclosure further relates to downhole fluids, including drilling fluids, spaces, cements, and proppant delivery fluids containing such as downhole fluid additive and methods of using such fluids. The downhole fluid additive may have any of a variety of functions in the downhole fluid and may confer any of a variety of properties upon it, such as salt tolerance or desired viscosities even at high downhole temperatures.

摘要: The present invention is concerned with plasterboards including at least two layers A and B of different composition, wherein layer A includes a calcium sulfate binder and a synthetic polymer foam and the layer B includes a calcium sulfate binder and a surfactant foam and wherein the at least one layer A is a surface layer. Improved nail pull resistance can be achieved in lightweight plasterboards, if foamed synthetic polymer is present in a surface layer. The present invention further concerns a method for the production of corresponding products, an apparatus for the production of such products as well as the use of synthetic polymer foam in a surface layer to produce plasterboards with high nail pull resistance at a minimal amount of synthetic polymer.

摘要: A simulated concrete mixture combines aggregate, sand, mortar clay, and additive. The mixture is hydrated with enough water or a hydrating solution to create a simulated concrete material having a desired slump. Useful aggregates include any type of aggregate used as a base for concretes, and useful additives include soaps, detergents, surfactants, and flocculants. The material can be refreshed with water or a refresher solution. The hydrating solution and refreshing solution are solution of water and additive. The simulated concrete material can be manipulated until its consistency becomes unworkable, after which it can be refreshed with water or refresher solution.

摘要: Cement slurries, cured cements, and methods of making cured cement and methods of using cement slurries are provided. The cement slurry contains water, a cement precursor material, an alcohol surfactant having from 10 to 20 carbon atoms and a carboxylic acid comprising an aliphatic chain having from 16 to 18 carbons. In some embodiments, the alcohol surfactant may comprise the formula R—(OC2H4)x—OH where R is a hydrocarbyl group having from 10 to 20 carbons and x is an integer from 1 to 10. The cured cement contains water, cement, an alcohol surfactant having from 10 to 20 carbon atoms and a carboxylic acid comprising an aliphatic chain having from 16 to 18 carbons. In some embodiments, the alcohol surfactant may comprise the formula R—(OC2H4)x—OH where R is a hydrocarbyl group having from 10 to 20 carbons and x is an integer from 1 to 10.
