    Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are provided for securing transmission of sensitive data on an LPWAN network such as LoRaWAN. Long-range, low-power transmission may enable a transaction card to communicate with a financial institution server without internet or cellular connectivity. The transaction card may generate a first security key. The key may include a transaction timestamp, a random number generated by the transaction card microprocessor, a personal identifier received at the transaction card from a user, one or more card parameters, and/or any suitable factors. A long-range, low-power network server may detect the card transmission. The server may retrieve the card parameters and personal identifiers stored in association with a user account during card registration. The server may generate a second security key. Based on a match between the first security key and the second security key, the server may authenticate the transmission.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for providing an integrated secondary communication network are provided. A method may include receiving an indication of a pre-determined trigger event, and presenting, via a user interface of a smart card, an option to perform a limited subset of a set of financial services. The set of financial services may be provided to a user of the smart card by a financial institution in connection with an account to which the smart card is keyed. The method may include the smart card bypassing the primary communication network, in response to receipt of a selection to perform a service from the limited subset of the set of financial services, and transmitting, via a transmitter of the smart card to a gateway of the secondary communication network, communication packets requesting the service. The method may also include the gateway forwarding the communication packets to a server of the secondary communication network, and, in response to receipt of the communication packets, the server causing the service to be performed.

    Abstract: An intelligent data partitioning engine processes instructions to monitor an input queue of a cluster computing framework processing on a distributed computing system. The intelligent data partitioning engine calculates data requirements for processing of one or more program files in the input queue and determines, based on a block size and available processing resources of a plurality of nodes of the distributed computing system, a number of data partitions. Based on the data partitions, the intelligent data partitioning engine triggers execution of the one or more program files by the cluster computing framework, where the cluster computing framework is configured based on the block size and the number of data partitions and updates the data requirements for processing of the one or more program files based on feedback from the cluster computing framework corresponding to one or more previous processing runs of the one or more program files.

    Abstract: A system for secure data transfer in a virtual environment receives a request to initiate a virtual interaction session between an avatar and an entity within the virtual environment. The avatar is operated by a user using a user device. The system presents a virtual data reader to the avatar. The virtual data reader comprises a screen to display data. The system receives user input from the user device. The user input includes user information and data object to be transferred to the entity. The user input is transferred from the user input to the virtual data reader. The system receives a security token from the avatar. The system verifies that the user input belongs to the user. The system also determines that the security token is valid. In response, the system transfers the data object to the entity and concludes the virtual interaction session.

    Abstract: A resource allocation module may be configured to monitor an input queue of a cluster computing framework for a batch of one or more programs for processing. The resource allocation module parses commands in each of the one or more programs to determine an input/output (I/O) complexity parameter and at least one operation complexity parameter corresponding to each program of the one or more program files. The resource allocation module triggers execution of the one or more program files by a cluster computing framework via a network communication, wherein the cluster computing framework is configured based on the I/O complexity parameter and the at least one operation complexity parameter. Based on analysis of feedback from the cluster computing framework, the resource allocation module modifies a calculation for determining the I/O complexity parameter and/or a calculation for determining the operation complexity of the program files.
