Abstract:
The present invention relates to water-soluble hydrophobically associating copolymers which are obtained in the presence of a nonpolymerizable surface-active compound and which comprise novel hydrophobically associating monomers. The monomers comprise an ethylenically unsaturated group and a polyether block, the polyether block comprising a hydrophilic polyethyleneoxy block and a hydrophobic polyalkyleneoxy block consisting of alkyleneoxy units having at least 4 carbon atoms. The monomers may optionally have a terminal polyethyleneoxy block. The invention further relates to processes for preparing the copolymers and to the use thereof.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for preparing hydrophobically associating macromonomers M and to the novel macromonomers prepared by means of the process according to the invention. The macromonomers M comprise a copolymerizable, ethylenically unsaturated group and a polyether structure in block form, the latter consisting of a polyethyleneoxy block and a hydrophobic polyalkyleneoxy block consisting of alkyleneoxy units having at least 4 carbon atoms. Optionally, the macromonomers M may have a terminal polyethyleneoxy block. The macromonomers prepared by the process according to the invention are suitable for reaction with further monomers, especially with acrylamide, to give a water-soluble, hydrophobically associating copolymer.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for mineral oil production, in which an aqueous saline surfactant formulation comprising a surfactant mixture of at least one anionic surfactant of the general formula R1—O—(CH2C(CH3)HO)x, —(CH2CH2O)y—SO3M and at least one amionic surfactant of the general formula R2—O—(CH2CH2O)2—SO3M and a base is injected through injection boreholes into a mineral oil deposit, and crude oil is withdrawn from the deposit through production boreholes. The invention further relates to the surfactant mixture, a concentrate comprising the surfactant mixture and a manufacturing process as well as the use of the surfactant mixture and the con- centrate in the production of mineral oil from underground mineral oil deposits.
Abstract:
A method for mineral oil production by means of CO2 flooding, in which liquid or supercritical CO2 and at least one alk(en)yl polyglucoside are injected through at least one injection well into a mineral oil deposit and mineral oil is withdrawn from the deposit through at least one production well. The alk(en)yl polyglucoside is preferably dissolved in the CO2 phase. A method for mineral oil production by means of CO2 flooding, in which mixtures of the alk(en)yl polyglucosides with alk(en)yl polyalkoxylates or anionic surfactants are used.
