    Abstract: Described is a process for preparing urethane (meth)acrylates. In a first step, a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate is reacted with a lactone (B) in the presence of at least one zinc compound and/or bismuth compound (C) to produce a bismuth-containing product, and, in a further step, the bismuth-containing product is reacted with at least one cycloaliphatic or asymmetric aliphatic diisocyanate (D).

    Abstract: Described is a process for preparing urethane (meth)acrylates. In a first step, a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate (A) is reacted with a lactone (B) in the presence of at least one catalyst (C), selected from the group consisting of iron compounds, titanium compounds, aluminum compounds, zirconium compounds, manganese compounds, nickel compounds, zinc compounds, cobalt compounds, and bismuth compounds to provide a product; and, in a further step, the product is reacted with a polyisocyanate (D) which comprises at least one hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate bonded via an allophanate group.
