Abstract: A two-component system for forming adhesive bonds or for chemical anchoring comprises a curable binder component A and an activator component B. The component A comprises: A-1) an inhibited hydraulic binder selected from among calcium aluminate cement, calcium sulfoaluminate cement and mixtures thereof; the component B comprises: B-1) a curing activator. At least one of the components A and/or B comprises: V-1) an organic binder; and V-2) a filler having a Mohs hardness of at least 5. The system is an aqueous system which is unproblematical from a health point of view. It is easy to process and quickly attains high strengths.

Abstract: A process for hydrophobization of concrete or mortar using an aqueous dispersion containing an alkylketene dimer, at least one emulsifier and a condensation product of phenol sulfonic acid and formaldehyde, naphthalene sulfonic acid and formaldehyde, or naphthalene sulfonic acid, phenol, formaldehyde and urea; and the concrete or mortar obtainable by the process. The process allows effective mass and surface hydrophobization of concrete.

Abstract: The present invention relates to primer compositions in powder form that comprise a dispersion powder based on an acrylate polymer having a glass transition temperature in the range from −50° C. to +30° C. and cement. The compositions of the invention are notable for good water barrier effect, good dust-binding capacity, and a low tendency toward salt efflorescence. The compositions find use in the priming of masonry, concrete, rendered surfaces, abraded render, plaster surfaces, wall blocks, wood, and ceramic tiles. They can also be used as adhesion promoters with nonabsorbent substrates such as glazed ceramic or glass tiles, metal surfaces, or surfaces of plastic.
