A mounted assembly of the tubeless type for a cycle consists of a rim and of a tyre comprising in particular beads, said rim consisting of two wings, attached to two seats, intended to receive the beads of a tyre. According to the invention, the rim and/or the tyre comprises means for stabilising the pressure of the air at the level of the outer surface of the tyre, in the zones which are neither in contact with the ground nor in contact with the rim, to a value lower than 2 bar. The invention is directed also at a rim for a cycle wheel and a tubeless tyre for a cycle.

    摘要: A mounted assembly of the tubeless type for a bicycle, includes a rim and a tire having beads. The rim includes two wings attached to two seats which receive the tire beads. A tire reception zone is formed between the wings. The rim and/or the tire includes a stabilizing structure for stabilizing the air pressure at the level of the tire's outer surface, in zones which are neither in contact with the ground nor in contact with the rim, to a value of less than 2 bar. The stabilizing structure enables air to be conducted from the tire to atmosphere if a bead loses contact with its seat. The stabilizing structure can be in the form of holes in the wings and/or the seats, or in the form of channels or projections disposed on the wings. Alternatively, the stabilizing structure can be in the form of projections formed on the tire sidewall and arranged to contact the wings.

    摘要: An automatic grounding means for a wiring device is provided by a spring clip formed from a single piece of wire in a generally U-shaped configuration, bent upwardly at both ends. The bent end portions are inserted through a pair of openings on opposite sides of the conventional mounting screw slot in the ears on the yoke of the wiring device, and are further bent either toward or away from one another to maintain the clip in firm engagement with the yoke without welding or other such permanent connection. When mounted on the yoke, parallel legs of the clip extend across the screw slot and are spaced by a distance less than the diameter of the mounting screw which thereby contacts the legs, flexing them outwardly, as the mounting screw is passed through the slot and between the clip legs to engage the flush box in which the wiring device is mounted. The engagement of the clip with the yoke assures a low resistance grounding path from the yoke to the clip to the screw to the flush box. The clip is disclosed in two embodiments respectively suited for automatic and manual assembly of the clip with the yoke.
