    摘要: A method and corresponding system for operating a dental handpiece, wherein the handpiece comprises a motor for driving a tool. the method comprises (a) sequentially capturing values of a physical parameter, which—at least approximately—represent the power or energy fed to the motor, (b) forming an integration value by integrating the values captured in (a), and (c) automatically reducing a power or energy fed to the motor if the integration value formed in (b) exceeds an upper threshold value. The integration value formed in (b) represents a measure of the power integrated over time and can thus be used at least approximately as a measure of the temperature of the instrument. The automatic reduction in the power or energy fed to the motor performed in (c) can therefore effectively act against a further increase in temperature or allow cooling if the temperature of the instrument exceeds an upper threshold value. In this manner, the risk of damage due to excessive temperature of the instrument can be effectively reduced.

    摘要: A method for production of an armature device group for matrix print heads of the clapper-armature construction is based on connecting and jointly processing prefabricated parts (1, 2) such that elongated armatures with wide armature arms (4) and narrower armature arms (5) are generated. For further decreasing the production costs and for increasing the precision of the armature coordination, for facilitating mounting and for saving assembly steps, an armature circle (1) is punched out with openings (6). An annular elastic shaped plate (2) of sheet metal is then attached covering the opening (6) and the radially outer and radially inner armature arms (4, 5) are then cut out employing a method such as thermal cutting or, respectively, water-torch cutting, without damaging of the shaped plate (2).

The opening is at an angle of between 40 and 60 degrees to the plane of the armature.

Thus unit (4, 19) is centered via in the pin guide case (9) via several cogs (25), distributed over the circumference, and cogs are provided, which center this unit (4, 19) also in a coil support case (14).

    摘要: A matrix print head includes a magnetic yoke plate, magnetic pole defining cores annularly arranged on the yoke plate, electromagnetic coils mounted on the cores, a permanent magnet plate arranged in magnetic conductive relationship to the yoke plate; the yoke plate, the cores, coils, and permanent magnet plate establishing an electromagnetic assembly, there being additionally an armature assembly including an armature plate and a plurality of deflectable radially extending armature arms, the armature assembly being arranged in relation to the electromagnetic assembly such that the armature arms cooperate with the electromagnetic cores, there being print elements such as styli connected to the armature arms; the improvement disclosed is comprised of the following features, the armature plate and the armature arms are physically separated from each other but resiliently interconnected to establish a single uncritical parasitic air gap; and the magnetic yoke and armature plates are radially, inwardly recessed vis-a-vis the permanent magnet plate. A radially inwardly and outwardly recessed intermediate plate is interposed between the permanent magnet and the armature ring.
