摘要: The present invention relates to a process for the production of polyether alcohols by catalytic addition of alkylene oxides to H-functional initiators using amines as catalysts, wherein the addition of the amines to the reaction mixture is effected prior to or at the commencement of the chemical addition of the alkylene oxides and also at least once during the reaction, said additional addition of the catalyst being carried out at the point of the reaction at which there is an increased occurrence of side reactions and/or when the alkylene oxides undergo a change in the polyether chain.

摘要: Flexible foams based on polyisocyanate polyaddition products are produced by reacting polyisocyanates with compounds which are reactive toward isocyanates in the presence of catalysts, blowing agents and, if desired, flame retardants, auxiliaries and/or additives, wherein polyether polyalcohols (c) which are obtainable by addition of alkylene oxides onto substances containing active hydrogens are used as substances which are reactive toward isocyanates, where, in a first stage, at least one substance (a) containing 2 or 3 active hydrogens is reacted with at least one alkylene oxide in the presence or absence of catalysts, subsequently at least one substance (b) which contains at least four active hydrogens and, if desired, further catalyst is added to the reaction mixture from the first stage and this mixture is then reacted in a second stage with at least one alkylene oxide.

摘要: The invention relates to a process for the work-up of polyether alcohols which have been prepared by base-catalyzed addition of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide onto H-functional starter substances and have a proportion of ethylene oxide in the polyether chain of greater than 20% by weight, preferably greater than 25% by weight, particularly preferably greater than 35% by weight and in particular greater than 50% by weight, based on the weight of the alkylene oxides used, which comprises the steps a) neutralization of the polyether alcohol with an acid subsequent to the addition reaction of the alkylene oxides, b) addition of at least one absorbent, c) removal of water and volatile compounds from the polyether alcohol, d) removal of the salts formed and the absorbents from the polyether alcohol, wherein phosphoric acid is used as acid in step a) in an amount of from 56 to 98% of the stoichiometric amount, the absorbent is used in an amount of from 0.05 to 5% by weight, based on the polyether alcohol, in step b) and at least one alkali metal hydroxide, alkaline earth metal hydroxide or amine is added to the polyether alcohol in an amount of from 0.001 to 0.5% by weight, based on the weight of the polyetherol, during the course of step c).

摘要: A process for treating polyether polyols prepared in a conventional manner by base-catalyzed reaction of H-functional initiator substances with alkylene oxides comprises a combination of a thermal-reactive step at a pH of less than 7 and a temperature above 60° C. and a thermal-distillative step in a countercurrent column using a purifying agent. The polyether polyols prepared according to the invention are used for producing low-fogging and low-odor PUR foams.
