摘要: The applicator assembly delivers a cosmetic, health, or hygiene chemical composition in an active state to the user for a disposable single use. The applicator assembly includes a wrapper, and an insert. The insert holds the chemical composition, and the insert is made of a foam composition compatible with the chemical composition. The system and method for manufacturing the assembly is a web conversion process for the chemical composition and foam composition of the assembly. The insert body of the assembly is made of a foam composition compatible with the cosmetic or other hygiene or medical treatment of the chemical composition and the manufacturing process. The foam composition includes a reaction product of water, clay, polyacrylate, silane, methanol, ethylenediamine, and polyurethane prepolymer.

A method for producing an open-cell polyurethane foam, comprising obtaining the open-cell polyurethane foam by mixing and reacting a polyol composition containing a polyol compound, water as a foaming agent, a foam stabilizer, a catalyst, and a flame retardant with a polyisocyanate compound by a spraying method, the polyol compound containing polyols (A), (B), and (C) at a polyol (A) content of 10 to 40 wt parts, a polyol (B) content of 10 to 70 wt parts, and a polyol (C) content of 10 to 70 wt parts.

摘要: The present invention relates to a reactive formulation used to make a polyurethane foam which is particularly suited for use in under the hood vehicle applications which require sound deadening and vibration management and a process to make said foam. In particular, the polyurethane foam is made from a reactive formulation comprising an A side comprising (i) one or more organic isocyanate and a B side comprising (ii) one or more isocyanate-reactive component, (iii) a carbon nanofiller; and (iv) one or more additional component selected from a catalyst, a blowing agent, a cell opener, a surfactant, a crosslinker, a chain extender, a filler, a colorant, a pigment, an antistatic agent, reinforcing fibers, an antioxidant, a preservative, or an acid scavenger.

摘要: Absorbent articles are described comprising a first absorbent layer comprising a polymeric foam. In one embodiment, the polyurethane foam comprises the reaction product of a polymeric polyisocyanate component having an equivalent weight of no greater than 250 g/equivalent; and a polyol component. The polyol component comprises one or more polyether polyols such that the polyol component comprises an average equivalent weight ranging from 500 to 2000 g/equivalent; an ethylene oxide content ranging from 15-30 wt.-%; a secondary hydroxyl content of at least 55 wt.-% and less than 80 wt.-% of the total hydroxyl content of the polyol component; and less than 5 wt-% water. Also described are various composites comprising the polyurethane foam described herein in combination with another substrate such as a second absorbent layer, a fluid impervious backsheet, and/or a fluid pervious topsheet.

摘要: The invention relates to a method of making a polymer-modified polyol having a solid content from 13 to 55 wt. % wherein an olamine is reacted with an organic polyisocyanate in the presence of a base polyol and at least one catalyst, wherein said at least one catalyst is a zinc carboxylate, and wherein the base polyol has hydroxyl functions wherein more than 20% of said hydroxyl functions are primary hydroxyl functions. The invention further relates to a polymer-modified polyol obtainable with the method of the invention, the use of the polymer-modified polyol for the preparation of optionally foamed plastics, and to a method for the preparation of optionally foamed plastics using the polymer-modified polyol of the invention.
