摘要: The monitor for uncommanded braking controls uncommanded brake application on one or more wheels during takeoff of an aircraft. Brake pedal application is determined, brake pressure is measured, and brake pressure is compared with a selected threshold brake pressure. A brake pressure applied signal is generated when the brake pressure exceeds the threshold brake pressure. The pedal application signal and brake pressure applied signal are received by a fault latch logic circuit that generates a fault latch output signal when uncommanded braking has occurred. A test inhibit signal is also generated when weight is not applied on the wheel. The test inhibit signal is also input to the fault latch logic circuit so that uncommanded braking can occur when the aircraft is in the air and weight is off the wheel. The monitor disables or latches off the shutoff valve when pressure is detected without pedal application. A fail-safe feature re-enables the shutoff valve to allow it to turn on, and monitoring is stopped, when pedal application is detected.

The compounds may be used in organic light emitting devices, particularly as emitting dopants, to provide devices having improved efficiency, lifetime, and manufacturing.

The nitrogen atom may be further substituted with particular thiophene, benzothiophene, and triphenylene groups. Organic light-emitting devices are also provided, where the novel materials are used as a hole transport material in the device. Combinations of the hole transport material with specific host materials are also provided.

The emissive layer may include a molecule of Formula I wherein an alkyl substituent at position R′5 results in high efficiency and operational stability in the organic light emitting device. Additionally or alternatively, the emissive layer may include a metal-ligand complex in which the ligand is an aryl or alkyl substituted phenylpyridine ligand.

The organic emissive layer includes a phosphorescent material and triphenylene compound or a compound having a repeat unit having a triphenylene moiety. The triphenylene is optionally substituted. The substituents may be the same or different and each is selected from the group consisting of alkyl, aryl, fused aryl, substituted aryl, alkenyl, alkynyl, and heteroalkyl. Triphenylene compounds are also provided.

摘要: Organic light emitting devices are described wherein the emissive layer comprises a host material containing an emissive molecule, which molecule is adapted to luminesce when a voltage is applied across the heterostructure, and the emissive molecule is selected from the group of phosphorescent organometallic complexes, including cyclometallated platinum, iridium and osmium complexes. The organic light emitting devices optionally contain an exciton blocking layer. Furthermore, improved electroluminescent efficiency in organic light emitting devices is obtained with an emitter layer comprising organometallic complexes of transition metals of formula L2MX, wherein L and X are distinct bidentate ligands. Compounds of this formula can be synthesized more facilely than in previous approaches and synthetic options allow insertion of fluorescent molecules into a phosphorescent complex, ligands to fine tune the color of emission, and ligands to trap carriers.
