摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may In support multiple component carriers that may be used to transmit uplink transmissions. One carrier may be used at a time such that the may switch between the carriers based on an uplink transmission schedule. In some cases, switching may be limited by a consecutive uplink switching rule or UE capability. In some cases, the gap between two consecutive uplink carrier switching operations may be limited to a resource (e.g., slot, symbol), such that the UE may expect to perform at most one switching operation per resource. In some implementations, the gap between two consecutive uplink carrier switching operations may be limited to a duration (e. g., 14 symbols, 4 symbols), such that the UE may expect to perform at most one switching operation per a duration less than or equal to a threshold.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques for non-codebook based UL transmission. In some cases, a UE may signal, to a network entity, capability information of the UE for non-codebook uplink transmissions. The UE may then receive, signaling, from the network entity, indicating a plurality of sounding reference signal (SRS) configurations based at least on the signaled capability information, wherein at least one configuration indicates at least one SRS resource and determine a plurality of precoding candidates, wherein each precoding candidate is associated with a configured SRS resource. The UE may then transmit the SRSs using the associated precoding candidates.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for adaptive modulo base selection for non-linear precoding. Aspects provide a method for wireless communications that can be performed by a base station (BS). The BS adaptively selects a modulo base for a data stream for at least one user equipment (UE) in a transmission to one or more UEs. The BS selects the modulo base based on one or more parameters. The BS transmits a signal for at least one UE of the one or more UEs to identify the selected modulo base. The BS performs the transmission to the one or more UEs. The UE receives the transmission from the BS and the signal for the identification of the selected modulo base. Based on the signal, the UE determines the modulo base for at least one data stream in the transmission and decodes the data stream using the modulo base.

摘要: A base station may determine co-phase information and uplink precoding information (e.g., user equipment (UE) precoder information) based on one or more received sounding reference signals (SRSs) from a UE. The UE may adjust precoders or co-phase for different SRS transmissions over the one or more configured SRS resources. As such, the base station may indicate either co-phase information or uplink precoding information via an SRS resource indicator (SRI), and may transmit an explicit indication of the remaining co-phase information or uplink precoding information in addition to the SRI. In other examples (e.g., when only a single SRS resource is configured), the base station may transmit an index corresponding to uplink precoding information, as well as a separate indication of co-phase information. In some cases, a port selection pattern may be included with an explicit indication, indicating a selection of antenna port indices the precoder or co-phase index applies to.

摘要: Techniques and apparatus for configuring transmission rank and/or precoder(s) to support uplink non-codebook based transmission are provided. One technique includes receiving sounding reference signal (SRS) resource(s) from a user equipment (UE), where each SRS resource is associated with one or more precoded ports. At least one of a transmission rank or a set of precoders is determined based on the SRS resource(s). An indication of at least one of the SRS resource(s) is signaled to the UE. The UE uses the indication of the at least one of the SRS resource(s) to send an uplink transmission.
