    摘要: In a pixel circuit of an organic EL display device, a gate of a driving transistor is coupled to a gate of a compensating transistor, which is configured to operate as a diode. A precharge voltage is applied to the gate of the driving transistor while a selection signal is applied to a previous scan line, so that the compensating transistor is biased in a forward direction to apply a data voltage on the gate of the drive transistor. The driving transistor may be electrically isolated from the organic EL element (OLED) while precharging, so as to prevent the OLED from emitting a light using the precharge voltage. In addition, the driving transistor may be electrically isolated from the OLED while the data voltage is being charged, so as to prevent the OLED from emitting a light.

Therefore, the ratio of the display region to the total size of the display increases and a non-emission region decreases. In addition, the resistance of the power supply lines is reduced.

    摘要: A pixel circuit of a light-emitting display that reduces the influence of kickback generated by parasitic capacitance. The pixel circuit includes first to fourth transistors, a capacitor, and a light-emitting element. The first and second transistors are serially coupled to each other and turned on in response to a first control signal. The capacitor is coupled in parallel with the first and second transistors. The third transistor supplies a data voltage to a first electrode of the capacitor in response to a select signal. The fourth transistor outputs a current corresponding to its gate-source voltage, which is based on the voltage of the capacitor. The light-emitting element emits light corresponding to the current from the fourth transistor.

The display panel includes a plurality of data lines for transmitting a data signal, a plurality of scan lines for transmitting a selection signal, and a plurality of pixels coupled to the data lines and the scan lines. The pixel includes at least two emitters for emitting different colors from each other in response to an applied current, and a driver for receiving the data signal while the selection signal is applied and outputting a first current corresponding to the data signal. The driver outputs the first current to at least the first and second emitters for emitting substantially the same color among the emitters formed in the pixels.

With this configuration, since the ripple voltage of the first voltage is always kept constant when the scan signal is turned off, a uniform brightness in a horizontal line and a frame can be displayed.
