摘要: A demonstration system includes a demonstration processor including a wired audio output, a data interface, and an anchor point. A portable audio device includes a wireless interface for receiving first audio signals, a wired audio input for receiving second audio signals, a mixing circuit outputting third audio signals including audio content from both the first and second audio signals, an output audio transducer for receiving the third audio signals from the mixing circuit and outputting them as audible signals, a user interface, a data interface, and a programmable processor in communication with the user interface and the data interface. A cable bundle includes a security cable for connection between the anchor point and the portable audio device thereby preventing theft of the portable audio device, and electrical conductors connecting the wired audio output of the demonstration processor to the wired audio input of the portable audio device.

摘要: A first audio device exchanges first control signals with a source device and thereby receives first audio signals from the source device. A second audio device exchanges second control signals with the first audio device including information the second audio device needs to receive the first audio signals from the source device. The first control signals include communications using Bluetooth BR/EDR protocols and establish a first Bluetooth link for audio streaming from the source device to the first audio device. The second control signals include communications using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols and transfer to the second audio device parameters of the first Bluetooth link, such that the second audio device can receive and decode an audio stream transmitted from the source device to the first audio device over the first Bluetooth link.

摘要: A wireless audio device, charging system, and method of charging a battery. The wireless audio device includes a communication module configured to enable the wireless audio device to communicate wirelessly and a battery. A charging interface is configured to establish a power transfer connection to the battery from a power source. A memory is configured to store paired history data indicating that the wireless audio device has been paired to an audio source upon the audio device being wirelessly paired. A controller is configured to detect the power transfer connection, determine a charge level of the battery, check the memory for the paired history data, and generate a control signal for selectively disabling the power transfer connection to prevent the charge level from exceeding a preset threshold unless the memory contains the paired history data.

摘要: A wireless communication network includes a communication source device, such as a Bluetooth digital music player and a communication destination device, such as a Bluetooth headphone or speaker device. The communication source device is configured to transmit audio signals, such as encoded electrical signals in the audio frequency band, to the communication destination device via a wireless or wired audio communication channel. Upon receiving the audio signal, the communication destination device is configured to uniquely identify the communication source device and subsequently enter a discoverable mode to establish a wireless communication channel with the source device, such as via Bluetooth pairing. With such a configuration, the wireless communication channel connection process can be automated requiring little to no user action on either the source or destination device to accomplish the wireless pairing process.
