Abstract: According to one aspect, a medical device may include a shaft including a distal tip with a distal-facing surface. The shaft also may include a fluid lumen extending to the distal tip and a nozzle at a distal end of the fluid lumen. The nozzle may be configured to emit a fluid jet from the distal tip. The shaft also may include a vacuum lumen extending to the distal tip and a vacuum chamber at the distal tip. The vacuum lumen may open into the vacuum chamber, and the vacuum chamber may be wider than the vacuum lumen. The shaft may further include a vacuum opening, and the vacuum chamber may open into the vacuum opening. The vacuum opening may be defined by the distal-facing surface of the distal tip.

Abstract: A system for endoscopic ultrasound guided drainage includes an access sheath extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including an access lumen extending therethrough from the proximal end to the distal end; a stylet slidably received within the access lumen, the stylet extending longitudinally from a proximal end to distal end and including a channel extending therethrough, the channel configured to receive a fluid therethrough; and a dilating sheath extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a dilating lumen extending therethrough. The dilating lumen is sized and shaped to slidably receive the access sheath.

Abstract: A medical device includes a tube comprising a lumen extending from a proximal end to a distal end of the tube, a cap at the distal end of the tube having a distal opening corresponding to the lumen, and an imaging system positioned on a distal-facing surface of the cap. The medical device also includes an instrument at least partially disposed in the lumen that is non-removable from the medical device, an instrument actuation mechanism for controlling the instrument, and a single handle connected to the proximal end of the tube and housing the instrument actuation mechanism. The instrument actuation mechanism, to which a proximal end of the instrument is affixed, may be configured to be moved between a first and second position on the single handle to control an extension and retraction of the instrument relative to the tube.
