摘要： A magnification loupe carried by spectacles has a Galilean lens system comprising a single-element eyepiece lens and a two-element objective lens. The loupes may be mounted to eyeglass frames by a flip-up mounting member, or they may be mounted through the eyeglass lenses of the spectacles. The loupes provide high magnification while minimizing weight to thereby reduce strain and discomfort to users. In an exemplary embodiment, the objective lens has a non-circular shape that provides a wide field of view while further minimizing the weight of the loupe. A correction lens may be interchangeably coupled to the loupe housing to permit selective replacement with another correction lens to vary the working distance of the loupe.

摘要： A crowned packaging tray and, more particularly a high-strength, molded packaging tray for use in packaging meats, fish, poultry and other comestibles, and non-food commodities, which is adapted to be utilized in conjunction with a transparent overwrap film. The packaging tray is provided with a novel tray bottom wall incorporating a high-crowned center portion encompassed by a peripheral bottom rim providing a support surface for the tray. This raised high-crowned portion will provide for an increase in the strength of the tray, while holding up the packaged product for an enhanced aesthetic appearance thereof. The tray may be produced in a variety of configurations, including generally rectangular, square, circular or oval shapes.

摘要： A single use, disposable infection control barrier for use with dental appliances includes an elongate bag with a first, open end and a second, closed end so that at least a portion of a dental appliance may be inserted through the open end of the bag to the second end of the bag. The bag is transparent so as to permit a user of the dental appliance to observe the dental appliance through the bag and is flexible so as to permit the user of the dental appliance to operate the dental appliance through the bag. The bag includes a lip at the first end of the bag extending from the bag, which lip serves to guide the dental appliance into the bag. An adhesive strip is located on this lip which serves to anchor the infection control barrier to a dental appliance, if desired. A dental appliance having such an infection control barrier, a method of using such a barrier, and a dispenser package for such a barrier are also disclosed.

Electrical circuitry 58 may be integrated with the eyeglass frames 12. A light source 36 is disposed within the headlamp 20 and electrical communication between the light source 36 and the electrical circuitry 58 of the eyeglass frames 12 is provided by electrical contacts 40, 42 associated with the mounting structures 22, 26 of the headlamp 20 and eyeglass frames 12. In another aspect, a user-wearable illumination assembly 210 for use with eyeglass frames 212 includes a clip assembly 230 that is selectively removably couplable to a bridge portion 214 of the eyeglass frames 212, and a headlamp 240 coupled to the clip assembly 230. The illumination assembly 210 further includes a battery 260, 260b that is selectively removably couplable to the eyeglass frames 212 and at least one electrical conductor 272a, 272b coupling the battery 260a, 260b to the headlamp 240.

摘要： A user-wearable illumination assembly comprises a mounting fixture that is adapted to be coupled to a user-wearable device, such as eyeglasses, goggles, face masks, helmets, or other devices. A light guide has a first end that can be coupled to a light source, and a second end coupled to a lens housing that is in turn coupled to the mounting fixture. An optical lens in the lens housing cooperates with the light guide to project light from the light source through the lens. In one embodiment, the lens has a substantially spherical surface facing the second end of the light guide and an aspheric surface facing away from the second end of the light guide. In another embodiment, the mounting fixture comprises articulating portions to permit independent or simultaneous adjustment of the lens housing to direct projected light in a desired direction.

摘要： A disposable dental tray includes a disposable tray body defining four utility compartments. Three of the utility compartments are disposed along a first side of the tray body, the fourth utility compartment being disposed along a second side of the tray body. All four of the utility compartments have relatively flat bases and are defined by integrally formed ridges extending upwardly from the compartment bases. Each compartment is surrounded by a defining ridge, interior defining ridges being offset from each other so that no interior ridge extends completely across the tray. The tray body further includes an instrument compartment defined by an encircling ridge extending upwardly from the base of the instrument compartment. The instrument compartment has integrally formed therein a series of grooves for holding dental instruments, which grooves are elevated above the base of the instrument compartment. An integrally formed reinforcing member extends across the instrument compartment in generally the same direction as the instrument holding grooves without interfacing with the usability of any of the grooves.
